I started cooking for my family when I was 10. I love homemade. Crock Pots, grills, sauces, sandwiches, and international foods are my favorites. Tending bar is still on my list of jobs-to-get-before-it’s-over, and my latest food challenge is trying to find ways to make “clean eating” taste good. 3. I like to stay busy, so I usually have a second job. The latest was a coffee shop (I wanted to learn about coffee). Next up? A grocery store or maybe a hardware store. 4. I grew up in a military family, so when people talk about culture— Once, in school, I wrote about my favorite spot. Other kids wrote about tree houses and ice-cream shops—I wrote about my spot in the car. 5. One of my strongest personality traits is . . . intensity? When I decided to re-do my furniture, I stripped it, sanded it, and stained it by hand. When I run, I sprint then walk. This is probably my greatest strength and my greatest weakness. It takes a lot of discipline for me to find my “medium” button because my natural pace is 100%. I'm looking for someone who is hardworking, affectionate, and excited to try new things.
