I have a pretty awesome life at the present time but I would like to find someone special to enjoy my free time with. Laugh together and just explore new adventures together. And I'm a sucker for a beautiful smile. I love to attend any kind of sporting event and my passion is PRO football..I like live music, dining out, traveling, wine tastings, watching sports at the local pub, cooking, baking, reading, spending time with close friends and family (I have a very large family and we are very close;they do live out of town though; parents married for 56 yrs). I have accomplished so many of my goals already, but I would say I would like to see so much more of this amazing world. I strive to be a good person and treat others with respect and live without judgement. I raised two beautiful children and they are off pursuing their dreams now. So ***is the year for ME.. I am looking for HONESTY and sincerity. Please don't lie to me and portray yourself as someone you aren't.I like to surround myself with positive people.I am spiritual and God is a huge part of my life. I want someone to challenge me to be a better ME on a daily basis. Don't always tell me what you think I want to hear, because that just backfires...be honest and open and I will respond likewise. A good listener is key!! I love lying on the beach. I like to stay up late and watch the sun set over the water. I love cuddling up on the couch in front of a blazing fire and watching a good movie (or King of Queens, Curb your Enthusiasm)...And PLEASE make me laugh....I love to laugh...I don't take myself too serious and you shouldn't either...My music choices are varied....All country.... jazz...rock...country...pretty much anything but rap.. A nice relaxed atmosphere where we can talk and get to know each other. Maybe drinks or coffee perhaps!

Looking for: man. In age: 48-58
If you're interested in a highly intelligent, deeply heartful woman who is comfortable in her own skin and confident about who she is, a woman who is willing to take risks in life and in love, read on.I come from big cities on both coasts and have urban sensibilities. So, intelligence, sophistication and polish make for good compatibility with me, mixed with warmth and authenticity. I take very good care of myself, kickboxing fitness classes are a current addiction, but I'm not a jock. I seek a partner who is also fit, trim, presents well. I enjoy most cultural activities, and live and dress with style... we're not a match. That said, I'm very grounded and genuine. I have plenty of personal warmth and an affectionate, thoughtful nature. A piece of art on my bedroom wall says "Stand In Your Truth" I'm a loyal and compassionate friend who shows up. I'm dedicated to serving others and changing lives in my chosen profession. I'm self-employed, solvent and a homeowner. No baggage that will make you run screaming. Insightful about human behavior and willing to look at my own stuff, too. Ridiculously sane communicator in relationships, not the type for tantrums or drama. Not into blaming, playing the victim, insulting you or being otherwise disrespectful-- but I am honest, sometimes to a fault.I want to meet a man who is deep, open to new ways of thinking, dwells in possibility and is living his purpose. Someone who enjoys the sublime as much as the ridiculous, who can be silly or outrageous when it's called for... and be a Man when it's called for, which includes treating women with kindness, reverence, respect. Someone who has a spirit of adventure, lives life courageously, and won't settle for mediocrity or complacency. Someone who has a big heart and listens well and is also comfortable expressing his masculinity, because I have a very feminine presence. Someone who has ambition and is financially comfortable.I'm looking for sparkle and spirit. To be able to laugh so hard I can't breathe and to revel in affection. To engage in real conversation with a man who lives an examined life, and to also engage in entertaining banter with wit and edge. To receive as much from a man as I have to give... from my heart. I believe that when we find each other, we'll just click. I ain't here to suffer fools or players. If your profile is a list of your favorite outdoor activities, that doesn't tell me much about who you are. I seek a man who knows himself... or is seeking to know himself. We all want to succeed here. If you have nothing nice to say, it'll roll off of me... as Glinda the Good Witch said to the Wicked Witch of the West, "Go away, you have no power here." I like to keep the first meeting simple and brief, coffee or a drink, and if that's going well, on from there to a casual dinner where we can get to know each other. I was raised by Southern women, so I would feel uncomfortable if asked to go dutch on a first date.

Looking for: man. In age: 50-60
It's time to do an update -- Ok -- Here goes.....Most people say that I'm basicly laid back and easy going (I get along with pretty much everybody) I am quite content to put on a pair of jeans, comfy shirt, and hang out at home or with friends ***Maybe, dinner and a movie or dancing, concert, social night out with friends. A romantic surprise night out with that someone special would be fun too. I would like to travel and experience new things that I've never done. I use to go to the gym and work out 3 or 4 times a week when my kids were in school. I would like to get back into exercising on a regular basis and it would be nice to have someone to do it with.People don't meet the same way they did the last time I was dating. So, I thought I would just go with the flow and give this social networking a try. I just don't know if I know how. I would like to meet soneone who shares some of the same likes and interest that I do. They need to willing and able to put forth the effort it takes to have a loving and intimate relationship. There needs to be a physical attraction and the chemistry that goes with it. I believe that a kiss is a true test of that and can also be a deal breaker. I'm sorry if that makes me sound shallow, but I need that. All of that being said, first we need to develop a genuine friendship. It takes time, but it's worth it in the end. I just want to take it slow (cause I wouldn't want to miss a thing).I was married for 23 years and I've been on my own for the last couple of years. It's time to start the next chapter in my life. I would like to expand my friends and family. And when I say family, I mean it. I lost both of my parents and a sibling in the 90's. I love kids and animals. I have a dog, a cat, and a sugar glider. And I can't forget to mention my two boys. They may be full grown, but they still light up my life.Ok, I know this is getting a little long and if I keep going I might lose your attention. So I'm going to leave it at that. Meet some where for dinner or a drink. Conversation to get to know one another.
