When people are asked to describe themselves they tend to lock up and give the standard cliche answers. You know the ones. "I'm smart, funny, and laid back. I love to have fun and want to meet other people to have fun with." While that may be the case, it's not intriguing in the least. Profiles start to run over into each other until one isn't distinguishable from the next. Such is the world of online dating. I'd like to think that my profile won't be one of those that blends in with the thousands of others floating around on the internet, but I know better. Now that you've read that, you are probably wondering why I even bother with online dating. Well, despite my cynical nature I do have a little bit of an optimist in me. While the likelihood of me meeting my "soul mate" on a website is rather slim, I might just be lucky enough to get some decent conversation out of it, and I'm not one to turn that down. It's one of my weaknesses. I suppose this is all done for the sake of curiosity. Something may or may not come of it. What have I got to lose, right?I want to start the obligatory description of myself with this: I am a huge geek.Dont get me wrong im not the typical Star Wars shirt wearing kinda geek though lol as I am actually a pretty cool SOB as well... I find it's usually a good idea to lead with that since some people have an aversion to all things nerd related. If the thought of video games and reading too much bothers you then I am not your guy ;) I play RPGs, know too much about conspiracy theory, and watch a ton of discovery channel. Besides being what some may call being a geek I am also what I like to refer to as being a music Nazi. All that this means is that I enjoy almost every genre...well maybe not classical so much but I do have a favorite piano composer...Ludovico Einaudi. I find music as an escape from this monetary society we all live in.What are some other things I should share? Oh, right. Well, it's really more the theory behind it. I find it very intriguing and I usually bring it up in conversation randomly. It's a good way for me to gauge the personalities of people around me. Though it's not completely accurate (because the test only judges self opinion which can be very skewed), it gives me a baseline to go with when interacting with others. It's fascinating and helpful.See? I tend to do that with things I truly enjoy. If you let me get started, I may never shut up. Don't hesitate to tell me if I get into that mode. Everyone needs someone to tell them to shut up occasionally.Enough about me, I am also supposed to mention what I am looking for in this mini biography. To start off, I am not looking for something incredibly serious. If a relationship were to come about from this profile I would prefer to start off as merely friends, if something sparked from that, brilliant!I am simply not the type of person to rush into things with my heart on my sleeve...learned my lesson a long time ago! Also, don't contact me if you are too opinionated, a "clubber", own more than 20 pairs of shoes, can’t speak clear proper English, use Pseudo psychology as fact based opinion, or have the rhetorical "all guys are the same" theory. What I am really looking for, like I have said before, is good conversation with interesting people. I am not looking for people who want to seem cookie cutter and perfect. I am looking for the flawed and quirky, the open and creative. This profile is mostly for the purpose of entertainment anyway. So, entertain me! Go-karts, Putt Putt, Batting cages, laser tag, Dinner/drinks, or just get drunk and play in traffic?

Looking for: woman. In age: 26-36
Let me think. I'm growing up and figuring out what I want in life. I know its cliche but I do choose to live each day as if it were my last. I have a hunger for adventure, carpe diem right? I love to work out and stay fit but I'm not a gym rat. I like to be outside doing something. Life has too many experiences that are waiting for me to conquer. Camping, Rock Climbing, Rafting, Travel, Skydiving, Hiking etc. I've been told I'm very charismatic, I LOVE to meet new people. I have a double bachelors in Psychology & Sociology. I would like to work with kids some how, I just havent found my calling just yet. I dont care if you have any but if were going to work long term plan to have more, someday I would like some of my own. I'm not a big drinker however I have brewed my own beer for over two years now. Care to try some? Dancing anyone? It is one of the few stress relievers on the planet. When I go out you wont find me near the bar or pool tables I'll be on the dance floor. Snowboarding is my runner up though it just frees my mind. Where is your pass too? I love music, I truly believe if I didnt have it in my life I would die. I sing everywhere especially the shower. On average I hit ***concerts a year & I listen to EVERYTHING. I'm always looking for someone new to check out, who is your favorite? I have a passion for cooking however I need to expand my knowledge.I figure I should throw this in here, I go to red rocks church every Sunday. It has definitely became part of my life and even after a long night out on the town you better believe I'm dragging myself out of bed and going even if I come home and go back to bed. I'm not sure if I should admit it but I am a hopeless romantic. I think it would be cool if someone actually took my breath away. Chivalry isnt dead its just rare. I've never been known to date more then one person at a time because I feel nothing will ever work unless you're devoted, Plus if I'm with you why would I want anyone else, right? I know that communication and honesty are two of the main components that make any relationship work. I would like someone that compliments the person I am. I know how hard the weather mans job is because my life is as predictable as the wind but I like it that way. care to tame me? if anything has sparked your interest feel free to say hello!*** I don't want this to sound rude by any means but if you've actually read this in its entirety I would hope that your message contains more then "hi" " hey there" or the ever classy " whats up" conversations are generated by asking questions and short messages are honestly not intriguing. I think first dates rock, I love to get to know someone and we can do pretty much whatever because if I'm on the date with you something already has me intrigued. maybe dance until the sun comes up. I dont drink coffee really but tea is good. I'm usually up for anything, except bowling, I kind of have a vendetta with bowling.

Man. 28 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: woman. In age: 25-35
Hello, I'm a film and rock climbing enthusiast looking for something new. I don't know exactly what that "new" is, so I'm giving this a shot. Mainly I'm looking for someone to challenge me, hold their own strong opinions, argue them passionately. Someone who has their own life, ideas, hobbies. In essence, someone compatible with me, not identical to me. A bit about myself, I love movies, majored in film in college so its always been a passion. I'm a bit of a nerd, I can spend an entire day reading a book I'm hooked on (Dance With Dragons was the last one), or learning a new piece of software, playing a video game. But I'm no stranger to the outdoors, camping, backpacking, atving, all are fun. But rock climbing is my main outdoor hobby, I try to go at least 3 times a week.If you want to know more, send a message. I'm always up for conversatikn. Either a good movie or a terrible one. Good food before or after. In all honesty, the date has to depend on the person. The perfect evening for one may be a disaster for another.
