I'm a born optimist ,but a realist. Touch is one of my major love languages, and I love snuggling with my man, stealing kisses in the rain..Outgoing with a few places of shyness.Family and friends are such valued treasures. I also love animals, although I've been without a dog the past few years. . I would term myself as a country sophisticate...a boots and jeans,chicks in the oven and calves in the bathtub type of gal,as I'd lived on a cattle ranch for many years- and then it was off to the symphony that night.I adore music as it's part of the fabric of my life.My tastes run all over the board ,from Verdi and Haydn,to Sting and Roy Orbison ,as well as R & B ,doo-wop,and yes, even the opera ! :) Slow dance ,cheek to cheek with me to Etta James's "At Last" in the parking lot ...I love to read, and haunt bookstores and the library.Theater and symphony season tickets enrich and color my world ,as does attending concerts in the park,musuems and art galleries.I live my life simply, but enjoying every day. I listen to NPR, enjoy Klick and Klack, A Prairie Home Companion, a good hockey game as well as the Cougars or Seahawks. I'm a talented cook in the kitchen,- think Julia Child ! :***and would love to have you be my permanent ,full time sous chef ! A kitchen dance, a glass of wine....Smiling...Travel is something I'd love to do more of,especially with a co -adventurer. There's alot of beauty to be savored and backroads to explore together .And I'd love for someone to teach me how to fish,and yes,even golf.You up for it?:))Camping , boating /sailing are enjoyed ,but even more so if I have a decent bed, and a hot shower is available.I want a full partner and a best friend to go through this autumn season of my life with - a wingman - where we feel as if we've come home when holding each other....authenticity,being vulnerable,gentle bantering with each other,being able to be silly at times, sharing wonderful deep discussions about everything and nothing,loads of laughter ,making memories,being supportive of one another and nurturing the relationship .... having a smoking hot love affair that rocks and endures the rest of our lives. !My Christian faith defines who I am and how I live my life.....and I'm looking for a partner who also shares those beliefs.With that goes being a conservative politically.     UPDATE: Well I had what I thought was a pretty good profile, laying out a little about me and what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, there seems to be a LOT of players on here. And speaking of a physical relationship, I'll be honest and say that yes I'm looking for one! I want the whole package - someone to love, be my best friend and lover. But priorities change. As much as I want a mutually satisfying, healthy physical relationship, I just as much want one where we are in sync with the mind, our personalities, our goals, our attitudes. I have kids that are almost grown and they are my world. But they will soon have their own lives and I want to have someone in my world to share my life with.
