About Me

I am looking for someone to give me a reason to come home from work at a reasonable hour. I do travel a lot for work, so that person will need to be understanding to that. When I'm in town I'd like to have someone I can enjoy the area with or just chill out at home. Someone who is trusting, can communicate, has a sense of humor, driven, and a positive outlook on life. Its all about the little things!! I am not looking to change anybody, and vice versa. I don't believe that money buys happiness, but being financially secure is important. I believe that you should treat people how you would want to be treated. I don't like liars, cheaters or flakes. I have been divorced for 14 years, and have had my fill of the single life. I am a genuinely good person with minimal drama in my life. I know what I want and don't want in a relationship, and when it comes down to it I won't settle for anything less than happiness.I am from CO, so I love the mountains. I just moved from STL area so big fan of Cards and Blues. Sorry, I'd rather drive 8 hrs to watch the Broncos play than watch the Chiefs in Arrowhead. I listen to all types of music depending on my mood. A total foodie...love checking out different local restaurants. I love spicy food, mexican, cajun, and sushi! I'm a decent cook too.A few struggles I have with profiles on here...bathroom pics, selfies, and pets. Maybe its because I don't know how to hold to phone and angle it just right to take a selfie, or maybe because it reminds me of my daughter and all her friends that only post pics of themselves on their profiles making duck faces...I don't know, but I cringe when bathroom pics, selfies, and pets are the only pics on a profile. I'd, personally, rather see pics of people living life and interacting with other people outside of their bathroom.     I think starting as friends is a good place.. and if it leads to more, than so be it. And if it doesn't... Well then we both have a friend that we can count on.... I love the simple things in life.. yes... the outdoors and the in ...Traveling, I love to drive to places on a whim...Antiques, If it ain't broken, rusty, or beat up..It doesn't come in the house...lol..Hey...I just described what I feel like when my feet hit the floor in the morning...LOL.. gardening, taking care of, and remodeling my home, cuddling, a good time out with friends or a lazy night by the fire with a good beer or wine... Oh.. and of course, my job,(I work for a great company) and a good meal. Arts and the talents of people... Sports, swimming and floating in the pool on a lazy Sunday afternoon... Watching an eagle fly takes my breath away... Or seeing a batch of turkeys walk up the road. Takin walks with my dogs in the woods. Feeling the air against my skin, the warmth of the sun on my face and the cool breeze of a blustery winter day.. The smells of fresh linens, a carnival, the softness of a newly dried towel, the feeling of having arms encircle me and pull me in for that long warm hug.....Mmmmm..smell of breakfast cooking... simplicity... There are so many other things that I truly love, and want to do.. But as we all have in common... Most of those things are so much more fun when there is someone else along to laugh at or hold on to while while doing them.. Hmmm.. If you want to know more..message me I will answer your questions...might be funTime for You...Hmmm.. You must be Genuine, Honest...Most important... Just Be You.. As we grow , we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You WILL have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Never change yourself for someone, add to yourself with them. And never regret anything that makes you smile. Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
