There I was, one with Nature!! long hikes, spotting the chimpanzee's, snorkeling in Lake Tanganyika, the sun the moon the stars!!I'm now heading to a 2nd occupation as a Holistic Practitioner; mainly Aroma Therapy and Reiki (would be great to make this full time) leaving teaching behind this year and working part time in the corporate world.I'm Japanese-American, raised in California. My family tried to hold onto values (more like rules), but I like to think I'm unique, and set my own standards and my own rules. So I'm grateful that I was raised in the states (yes I'm a U.S. Citizen) and I got the best of both worlds.Some other things about me, I am the best aunt ever!!! Kids love me, most likely because I'm a goofball. (I am perfectly happy not to have a child of my own cuz I'm too old now) I donate my hair to "Locks of love" every year or so, collect shells, sea glass, and crystals. Sometimes, I volunteer with animal rescues. Make-up and I do not get along.Keep it simple!!
