Empathic soul, seriously into helping others, wearing toques and giving hugs. I'm an empathetic person, I'm attuned to the emotions and needs of other people. I find potential in everyone and enjoy helping others fulfill their potential. I look for and find the best in others. I am almost always optimistic about situations and even when something doesn't work out I find the good that came from it. I like days better than nights, light better than dark, hot over cold, sunny better than cloudy, but there are a few things better in this world than a really great thunder, lightening and wind storm that rocks the house. I am driven by the need to travel. If I don't have plans lined up for my next adventure then I feel a little inert. I have been to Italy, Greece, Spain, France, London, Scandinavia, Croatia, Amsterdam, Mexico, the Caribbean, and parts of the US and Canada. I am music obsessed, while The Backstreet Boys, Taylor Swift and One Direction have my teenage heart, I am currently being rocked by Cage the Elephant, Mother Mother, USS, City and Colour and Band of Skulls to name a few. I experiment with the guitar and more recently the harmonica. I like my T.V. shows to rip at the heart strings quite literally with The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones or tickle my funny bone with The Mindy Project.I'm looking for someone who knows what they want, knows how to be responsible yet is able to let loose, likes routine but doesn't shy away from spontaneity and has a great sense of humour.     Winter is a nice time of the year in my opinion. I am busier in the other 3 seasons with volunteering at two non profits, taking road tips within a day's drive, kayaking Lake Nockamixon and working in my yard.The past 30 years of living has given me memories that will make me smile when old age kicks in, lol! I worked in my college degree field for 19 years; lived in Ohio for this position, marriage ended and I moved back here where I grew up.
