About Me

Has the novelty of searching for the one long worn off? Wouldn't it be nice if dating came with previews; the highlights rolled into a 1-min short about what to expect, so you know what the next 2 hrs might hold? Something along the lines of: Coming soon. Born a social butterfly, watch as this dating veteran makes her way from Philly college grad to supply chain guru. Salivate through gourmet dining scenes, whether she's out on the town feasting with friends or helping throw wine tastings/dinner parties. Laugh out loud as you follow her chaotic adventures around the country, the Caribbean, Canada, or even Europe. Big city mayhem meets suburban serenity in this dramatic comedy about a quirky woman trying to maintain a healthy work/play balance, while avoiding picky eaters, loony co-workers, and the charismatically challenged. Check local listings for show times.Who I'm looking for? He's excited when his favorite team is winning and that excitement is contagious. He'll try anything twice to say he gave it a fair shot. He likes to travel, but can make the most out of getting snowed-in at home. He's a 'foodie' who prefers raw milk cheddar to organic soy-cheese. He defines 'healthy living' as moderation and fresh air, not low carb and body sculpting. He loves to be in love, but doesn't live to be in love. He's ambitious and passionate about friends, hobbies, and more. He's not afraid to share his opinions but knows his isn't the only opinion. He's got a sense of humor, a sense of style, and a sense of adventure. He enjoys wooing a woman. And he's not embarrassed to tell you how long he's been looking, as he stands by his decision not to settle. If you're a nice non-practicing Jew, introduce yourself.Activity dates are always good. You get to see each other in real lighting, doing something fun & interactive you can talk about. The zoo, a museum, a cooking class, salsa lesson ... something hokey like bowling.

Woman. 45 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.

Looking for: man. In age: 35-55

Hi,I love to go to festivals and concerts, whale watching, plays, musicals, dive bars, dancing, singing, hiking and well there is just too much to list here. I guess its easier for me to describe myself as very diverse person who loves meeting new people. I am open to doing new things as life is too short to just sit around doing the same old thang day in and day out! I have a heart of gold and I am one of the most loyal, honest and reliable people you will ever meet. I am also very independent and will give most people a run for their money when I am challenged..lol I am easy going for the most part, but by no means a push over. I am fun, out going, independent, adventurous. I am ready for new adventures and meeting new people that bring some spice into my life!I think a first date should be Dinner, Lunch or even Breakfast. I don't think meeting for coffee or drinks is a date. Call me old fashioned but a first says a lot about a person, and if you can't put more effort into me then coffee or a drink, I'm not interested.

New Recent Pic - Not overly involved in the Online dating thing - but you never know.**************************************************************************************************************I moved to Vancouver Sept ***, Have settled nicely into my "as permanent as it gets" home in the Mount Pleasant area. I spent my time between family and friends I have close by, reading, cooking healthy food ( I'm in the process of trying to change my body and hopefully my outlook on life a bit too), exercising, and trying to figure out what I want to do with the next phase of my life.I'm a well educated, intelligent, somewhat sarcastic and apparently unusually pragmatic woman. Some of the Vancouverisms I have encountered make me shake my head - some I find I am adopting the longer I live here. That said - I am still the kind of girl who brings her own axe on a camping trip and is perfectly capable of splitting her own wood. Mind you - if you're better at it than I am, I'm happy to sit back and enjoy the view...I'd love to meet someone I "click with" to hang out with and get to know better. Hopefully someone who is excited to get out and do things in and around this fantastic city ( I can be a an introvert and a bit of a home body on my own). I'd love to be in a relationship a man who understands that it takes time and a mutual effort to get to know each other - Chatting online does not count. No one is perfect and we are all on our own journey. Do you think your paths might cross with mine? I realize that sounds cliche but then - cliche's find their roots in truth. One of my reasons for moving to Vancouver was to improve my life and provide an environment where I would be more successful in improving myself. While I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt ( and lets face it - there is a lot of doubt when you meet someone online) I have a very low tolerance for drama. That said, if you think we might enjoy each others company or be part of each other's journey, drop me a line and we can go from there. In the mean time - I'll be living my life and wish you the best in yours. Cheers and good luck to all.Although I try to be optimistic - let's start with something short and sweet that can be extended if we want to. Grab a coffee and hit a trail or the sea wall.
