I was born in LA area, but have mostly lived in Oregon, since 12.Traveling has been a big part of my life and I enjoy trying and experiencing new things. There are still lots of places to visit and enjoying "the world" with a life-time partner. I also enjoy laughing and being goofy part of the time, I expect a little crazy will be on the list - or maybe I can just blame it on being blond. Either way it's always part of the day.I love Central Oregon, where I may want to live one day - at least visit alot. I seem to be drawn to mountains, rivers and lakes. I tend to want to try and see it all eventually. I also spend time just doing whatever at home, wondering where all the time has gone.I have a couple college degrees, but mainly hold dear the life experiences that have come my way and the ones that will come about.Sharing the second part of life with someone with qualities we could all admire would be wonderful.The world is wide open!My idea of a first date is to talk...and see how we feel around each other. I'd like to get to know the person I'm with in a comfortable environment. Becoming friends is a great beginning.

I enjoy cookouts with friends and family, camping, campfires, exploring new off the beaten path places,I like power walks in the park, hiking, biking, the beach/mountains and spur of the moment weekend getaways!!! Love thrift stores...old finds, garage sales, flea markets...very artistic personality. I think I was born in the wrong era...I love old things...vintage things and people..lol. I can see a new creation out of something old and broken...I have been married and divorced...I have learned an enormous amount of patience, kindness, forgiveness and understanding through all my experiences and I am a better person for it! I would not be who I am without these walks through life!!I enjoy fixing up old things, remodeling, building new things....I have my own tools!! I am a single parent, though my son is now 21 yrs old and is in his 3 rd year of college here at OU. I am fairly independent in that I own a few rental properties that I helped build and now maintain them. I love gardening and have recently started to grow flowers along with my vegetables. I am involved in the community, but also like to travel internationally. I have a small vacation house in the mountains of Costa Rica, and am learning Spanish. More recently I have been teaching kindergartners how to read and have started a small childcare camp at my home for the summer. We are gardening, and doing creative messy art work. I enjoy a man with a good sense of humor and someone not critical, who is easy to talk to and likes to socialize. It also would be good if he had an interest in traveling and learning new things and knew how to fix things. I would like a partner I can share my life with, though we would not necessarily have to live together. I have 3 cats and am not much of a dog lover. I do enjoy nature and love to hike, bike ride, swim and like to explore new places.I am very interested in traveling to places that are rich in nature beauty. I hope to do more traveling in the next 10 years to places like South America, Alaska, and Europe. I love a variety of music but more on the mellow side.Go out to eat at a quiet restaurant and go for a walk in a natural setting, to get to know each other.
