I am an easy going, creative and practical sort of lass and don't mind getting my hands dirty. I'm very into design/making, art and music of which I have an eclectic/alternative taste and I love to spend time with my friends (new ones always welcome though!). My baggage come in the form of ME, a recent development which can be debilitating, but if I rest lots I can play lots too and it won't be forever! I'm not a particularly girlie girl, day to day I'm probably a bit scruffy but I scrub up ok too. I'm happiest pottering round the garden with my cat and chickens and dream of having more animals one day. People say you are either a cat or a dog person but that is not true for me, i only don't have a dog because of work. I hope to be very accepting of different lifestyles and I will always stand up for what I believe in (usually quietly, not on a soap box). I work for myself and as a mentor in a university so I don' t have heaps of time but like to make the most of my down time and very long summers!! I don't really have a nine to five life and love to travel when funds allow!Apart from the obvious stuff- genuine, honest and sensitive, which is all important of course, I'd really like to meet someone who likes growing and making stuff, is open to a bit of culture, someone who is open minded but above all of that, has a great sense of humour! Family and friends are the most important things in my life and enjoying the simple things in life.
