Looking for: man. In age: 60-80
Life is a mystery one never knows what is going to happen until you turn and read the next page or get up the next day. And then we get to the age of retirement and beyond each day is a gift that might be packaged in silver of gold with wonderful pretty red ribbon or with new paper that is all old and used.I say this to say this. So many of us want the perfect complete healthy young person that we think we are age wise in our head but then it comes to our body age we don't stop to think it does wear out and does have problems.I was always very healthy woke up one morning and before 10am I had a heart attack and all that followed. Then one day I woke up and had an eye appointment and by the end of the day I found I had cataracts and needed surgery. Then one day I got up and went to get my Mammogram and found I had cancer.Had the cancer removed now working on the preventative. Nowadays cancer is not a death sentence just an inconvenience. It was caught at stage 1, very small. Before the end of the year I should have great eyesight and be over the treatments and on to new and better things. Praise God Radiation for ***weeks and meds for 5 years are only things that I need to do. So getting to know you now and enjoying a quite time would be great then around October life of freedom and fun will totally begin. Now to say all of this you out there are all healthy and 70+year old ***minded men thinking I want a 40 something gal perfect healthy and without spot or blemish. Let me tell you either she or you can wake up one day and you too can be damaged.Hope this does not make you run but am up front and truthful and looking to find friends and maybe more. Hopefully you are a strong Christian man that lives and serves the Lord and his community.Christ was a servant I am sorry to say I have been here for some time and have yet to find a man with a servant's heart.God bless you and just remember tomorrow it might be your turn. Just make sure your not afraid to die but knowing you will live eternity with Christ.John 3:***Romans 8I would meet you at a place where we could talk for hours, have a meal or just a drink. (Coffee, coke, etc.) Get to know each other a bit and on the second date we could plan a day of fun. Find the things each of us likes to do and then let ourselves enjoy the future.

Woman. 59 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.
Looking for: man. In age: 49-69
I am a musician (electric bass) who performs blues, New Orleans R&B, jazz, Cajun/zydeco, and other roots-type music. I also freelance edit and was formerly the managing editor of a national music magazine. I have a BA and an MA in English literature, and spent my first year in college as an art major.I have two Australian shepherd dogs and love to hike and travel with them. Going out to hear live music, seeing movies, eating a fine meal, dancing, seeing plays, going to museums, and spending quality time with my many wonderful friends are how I like to enjoy my free time. I am very liberal politically, and am spiritual but not religious. My favorite radio stations are KALW (I like to start my day by listening to the BBC news), KCSM, and KQED. I don't watch much TV and therefore don't have cable, but I do watch the news, political broadcasts, and various shows on channel 9. If I'm around on a Saturday night, I'll watch SNL.My spiritual "goal" is to try to live each day as fully, honestly, and joyfully as possible, yet with the long-term picture in mind. When I was laid off from my last full-time job (as managing editor) in ***, I began to live that goal by using that opportunity to start earning my living doing what I love most—playing music. Not a lucrative profession, but unbelievably satisfying. I've never regretted making that decision, and have been a much happier person since following through with it.I am looking for a best friend and companion—someone who is as comfortable with nurturing as with being nurtured, someone who enjoys being communicative, fun-loving, sensitive, and decisive yet flexible. If music is not at the top of your list of personal loves, we will probably not make a good match, as it is an enormous part of my world. It would be a huge plus if we could play music together. Good luck in your search! It would be nice to meet for coffee or go for a walk. Then decide if we want to go for more.
