A few random facts about me: I play guitar. That's not to say that I'm good at it, but I love to play. I play several other *** well so music is a big part of my life. I taught myself how to knit in an attempt to quit smoking. I now have an awesome collection of homemade scarves. I have a pair of shoes to match every mood, outfit, or occasion...but I wear the same beat on sneakers every day. When I saw the movie "Jaws" when I was little, I was terrified to take a bath for weeks. "A Goofy Movie" makes me cry. I'm obnoxiously loud but painfully shy. I always read magazines from back to front. I'm absolutely terrified of dinosaurs. I can't sleep at night without my stuffed penguin, Jasper. I have this really annoying habit where I carry the tv remote around the house without realizing it and lose it CONSTANTLY. I absolutely LOVE to watch the garbage men pick up the trash....I have no idea why. I pronounce the word "color" as "keller" and it drives me insane. I'm pretty sure I did irreversible mental damage to a pigeon one time. Ask me about it- it's a good story. I still feel bad about it! I have the same thought every night before I fall asleep, but I've never told anyone what it is. I CAN'T dance...but after a couple drinks I think my awkward grinding and such is downright sexy...until I see videos of it the next day. I love to have fun, but I am not a total airhead either! I work hard to get what I want. I love my job. I'm just looking for some fun and variety in my life!I'm looking for someone with a sense of humor as whacked out as mine. That's a must! If I can find that I think the rest will take care of itself...it may be awhile!I'm not looking for empty hook ups, so if that is all you want I'm not interested. I'm looking for something more substantial. I'm not saying that I'm looking for something serious to rush into either. I would be perfectly happy with someone who is a night owl like me and would be content grabbing a six pack and a crappy movie and hanging out after work. I'm actually having a hard time finding that! I prefer older men. I just don't seem to click as well with people my age. At the end of the day it has nothing to do with age, more maturity and if we're looking for the same things from life. I have two pet peeves when messaging 1. Only saying "hi" 2. I hate being called pet names by strangers :)Anything fun. Going to the zoo. Shooting pool. Drunken karaoke. Whatever. It's not the activity that makes the date it's the company.

I love to travel to new places and to try new things! Life experiences especially in travel are what I work so hard for. However there is so much to also discover still in the cities. A hidden gem of a restaurant, or a random event can be also a great mini adventure. I own my home and I'm a total "do-it-yourselfer" but over the years you start to learn your limitations and know when to say uncle. Extended family and close friends are a big part of my life. I would do anything to help them out. I also enjoy spending time with my crazy dog, she's more like a kid that doesn't pick up after herself. As far as "religion" I have a personal relationship and belief in Jesus Christ as the son of God, this is a belief that my other half must have as well. I work a lot, however have been getting much better at finding a better balance. I love what I do and take pride in my work and my accomplishments in life. I am looking for someone who is similar minded, who is open to a friendship with possibilities for long term.I love to try any place new. I'm open to trying most things. I love chilling at a coffee shop, playing cards/board games and getting to know someone. Love movies but not for a first date, I would rather get to know the person I'm meeting.
