Live life to its fullest! It is too short to not! I am honest to fault, extremely outgoing, laid back & down-to-earth. Friends may describe me as either "Girl next door" or "Town Mayor" - I'm just me. Strong, independent woman who attributes these traits to who I am today...thanks Mom! I enjoy trying new things once, if not twice. Meeting new & different people...makes life a hell of a lot more interesting! I adapt in any environment (not shy). I never feel awkward. I believe that in life, hard work & risk (in moderation) will lead to reward. I know when it's time to put the work away & play. Work hard, play harder! If you can make me smile & laugh, you are a step closer to my heart. Laughter is the best medicine - keeps one young at heart.I enjoy going out for a night on the town as much as staying in w/ a bottle of wine, making dinner, and cuddling up on the couch watching a movie. I'm a hopeless romantic. :) I don't always need to be entertained. Some of my best nights are creating my own entertainment...spent w/ the ones I love. ME: Laughing (a lot), smiling, & simply living life. I tell horrible corny jokes on a daily basis for the pure joy of making others laugh even at my expense. Spending time w/family & friends...I have the best of both! I love cooking...esp. someone who enjoys my masterpieces. I enjoy wine tasting, entertaining at my house, tailgating, backyard BBQs, having dinner parties, or a random Pizza & Game night. Really enjoy quiet backyard or alone time too! Love the beach or anything to do w/ water. Camping, playing & watching (almost all) sports. I still ski avidly in Vermont. Used to play softball & field hockey 'back in the day'. LOVE watching college & NFL football, college & NHL ice hockey, & MLB baseball - go to several games in each sport every season. An occasional SHU Pirates college bball game w/ my Pops. Going down to Jersey Shore...not just in the Summer, but all year round. (Note: My family lives down in Shark River Hills/Belmar -but DO NOT WANT a guido guy here). Love live music, Irish pubs, & spending a day outside (anywhere) w/a group of friends. Vacations...Beach or mountains. Wineries. I have an awesome dog who is completely laidback & goes with the flow. A perfect Winter Sunday = watching football in sweats all day while doing absolutely nothing one week or Sunday Funday out....but the next weekend, let's hit the slopes skiing all day long. A perfect Spring/Fall Sunday = outside watching a sports game & enjoying great weather w/ a fun person! Summer...Let's kayak, maybe hit a bar on the water, or sit on the beach and take naps mixed w/ reading or running up to grab a fruity drink!What do I want? Seems simple, yet hard to find. A mature, good-hearted, kind man with a straight head on his shoulders. Someone who loves his family, living life and having fun. A guy who wants a family...will be an honest, true husband and loving father. My side-kick, best friend, and partner/parner-in-crime in this journey called life....all in one! The rest of life will fall into place with the right person beside you.Grab a drink at a bar or meet up for a cup of coffee to get to know one another. If we click, maybe plan something fun out of the ordinary (not the usual boring dinner or movie) for a second meeting. (NOTE: Seeing you for the first time doesn't qualify as a "date"...it's a meeting. I can't stand silly girls that think the first meeting is a date. Be adventurous, you only live once!     My friends would describe me as funny, outgoing, smart, honest to a fault, and fun to be around. I value my friends, family and animals above everything else. I am a country girl through and through, living in a small town outside of the city.
