Love being outside when the weather is beautiful. Love to dig in the dirt and (try to) garden--get my hands dirty. Ride bike. I hopefully will spend a lot of time at the pool this summer with the kids I nanny. Four of them 8,7,6, & 1&1/2. Try watching that many kids if you aren't a young 62! LOL.I love to visit with friends. There is a large group of us & we call ourselves the "Group B Group". We celebrate Birthdays, go to plays, movies, concerts, play cards (Hearts and ***mostly) but we especially get together and watch the Vikings during the season. I also hang out with my friend Cathy at Caribou when there is time. Then there's Maya, Candace, Jennifer, my daughter Chara etc. I am very outgoing and social. I am the Adult Social Ministry leader at my church because of my "effervesent personality". At least that is how I was introduced at the annual meeting. :-) I attend a non-traditional Christian church called Unity South in Bloomington. It can be found on line and on *** is a spiritual church, positive and a way of life--which is in this very moment. The Rev. says we are not "New Age", rather "Seekers of Truth". We meditate and that is our communion with God. I also meditate with a group and at home.I love to swing dance--haven't been in way to long. I love eating out, eating in, --try to eat healthily-- live theatre and movies. The music I like from the 60's like Moody Blues, Jethro Tull ***. I also like some Jazz, Classical, and Meditation music. I have been a healer for as long as I can remember. Nurse for 30 years. Now into Pranic (energy) healing through God, of course. I just completed a series of classes titled "Christian Healing." I plan to continue what I believe are my 3 reasons for being here at this time: "To heal, to teach-children-, and to bring joy into peoples lives."     Hi there:) Family and friends would describe me as being nice, patient, caring, sweet, understanding, mature, and a good listener when family & friends need an ear. I can at times though be stubborn, (it's the German in me). I have lived in the same town my whole life, but have traveled to Canada once, and have been been out west quite a lot and few other states in other areas. I'd like to meet someone who is single, Christian, has a sense of humor, patient, reliable, laid back, honest, sincere, compassionate, non-smoker, non-drug user, has close family connections, has their own vehicle, is a U.S. citizen, or is in the process of becoming one. I am looking for a long-term relationship, but wish to start out as friends, and then see how things go from there. I am not looking for one-night stands, hook-ups, nor friends with benefits. I'm not interested in pics showing stacks of cash, "bling", overpriced vehicles, and designer clothes. None of that impresses me. Pics of dead wildlife don't do much for me either. I'm looking for a guy who is not too clingy, high strung or immature. I'd like to find someone to share everyday life with, and spend time with, just talking, or going to movies, or staying home and renting some, or go to parks and zoos, shopping. Someone who is not always checking or on his cell phone would be a plus. I don't expect to be wined and dined day and night either, but some effort should be made I think. I'd like to find someone who finds family and friends more worth living for, than working hundreds of hours a week at work.
