About Me

Well I have travelled the world and been coast to coast in both Canada and the US but still I am unable to find a suitable travel partner! Are you still out there or am I destined to walk the road of life alone? Seriously my life is fairly full and sometimes seems non stop but I'm missing that last piece of the puzzel. Do you think you might be the right fit? If so, grab your passport and lets hit the road! If you're really lucky I shall share with you my motto for life. That's all I got for now. The rest is up to you!UPDATE: Back in Peg city and LOVING it despite the crappy ***winter from H E double hockey sticks! ;p So happy to be home again. Still not back in my residence but I'm not homeless so no worries! LOL Done with work in Ontario and finally back on my game in Winnipeg.... Had to return to a great job offer and getting my career back on track! :DCheers and Happy Fishing!!coffee, not wine; Coke, not Pepsi; dark chocolate, not milk but with milk (or soy!) on the side ;)

Woman. 56 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.

Looking for: man. In age: 46-66

Hi there,I'm looking for someone who, like me, is vegan.I come from a big Italian / Norwegian family and I love sitting over a meal listening to someone else's story and sharing mine. Talking and eating, what could be better? I have a tendency to rescue animals so if a temporary box of extra kittens isn't your idea of a fun afternoon.......My political leanings are very important to me and revolve around animal rights, helping people help themselves, and the environment in that order. I've been studying natural and holistic health and healing since I was 19. (but try and come between me and my Mighty-O doughnut and I can't be responsible for your safety.) I'm not too Woo Woo about it. Maybe just woo. In other words, I don't think that passing your hands over a broken arm is going to fix it.I am looking for someone who shares my attitude toward animals.I like adventure in unexpected places; in fact, I tend to think everything is an adventure. I guess as far as what "type" I am, I lean toward an artsy thinker whatever that is. As far as what type I like, physically, there really isn't one. I like smart, communicative, positive, and funny. Whatever type that that comes in works for me. I love to laugh; I have found that a sense of humor can help you get to the other side of anything. The most important traits to me are ethics, honesty, communication, dependability and ethics. Did I say that twice? : ) I have been lucky enough to have traveled some-Israel,Turkey,Jordan,parts of Europe, parts of the US and have lived in Hawaii. Then there was that trip to Baja in my 20's... But never mind :)I find each new place with its lifestyles and people widen my perspective.I like to spend time with people that make me laugh, that I can make laugh and who make me think. I love different perspectives. I'm a writer. I can say that because I've been published. OK that isn't as big a deal as it sounds but it's fun to say. The goal is to finish my book series, sell it, become rich and famous and, sadly, have to turn down all of those talk show invitations (Oprah will beg and weep) because I'm too busy volunteering for good causes.Until then I have a personal organizing business that I find very rewarding. Most of my clients are people with issues with trauma, mental health based chronic clutter, or hoarding (but I call it "excessive collecting"). It is very rewarding to have someone say "I couldn't have done this without you" or call and say "I had my first dinner party in 12 years!" I love old movies, street fairs, popcorn and animals. I love art, and the symphony or opera are a special treat but don't let that scare you. I rarely date men that like the symphony or opera, I have friends for that. I could win a million dollars and still want to go garage sale-ing (not that I couldn't figure out how to spend a million dollars). I enjoy involving myself in the interests that the other person brings to the relationship. (barring bungee jumping and skydiving -- those I can watch and wave) I want someone who is clever, fun-loving and willing to look at life from many perspectives and with endless possibilities. I'm looking for someone who, when he meets the right person, wants to build a life together.Meet for tea/coffee or a drink somewhere where we can talk.

Looking for: man. In age: 58-78

i am a petite country gal 5' tall and weigh ***lbs. i have naturally curly blonde hair and blue eyes. i smile all the time and laugh a lot i have an outgoing personality. i want a long-term relationship life is to short to spend it alone. i want someone with a great personality who is honest and sincere and over and i mean over the last relationship and ready to go forward and not backward in it. no mind games i am comfortable in blue jeans and cowboy boots or dressed up either way i like to lisen to the rain on a tin roof and watch the lightning dance across the sky and i like to smell the clean air the rain leaves behind i like to watch the birth of a new foul or baby calf and watch it take its first step. i want to meet someone who likes watching the flight of a hummingbird or a butterfly. i want to meet some that little things are important to them. sometimes people do really small things that make a big difference. it only takes a moment. to reach out to a friend. but to the one who needs you the memory never ends. a simple act of kindness to a person you dont know plants a seed of friendship that for them will always grow. we sometimes lose perspective of the differences we can made. when we care more about giving and care less of what we take. so remember your actions may help change a life someday. The days are too short even for love, how can there be enough time for quarreling. We don't need it in our lives only love. And think not that you can guide the course of love, for love if it finds you worthy shall guide your course. If i love until it hurts, then there is no hurt only more love. There is no such thing in anyones life as an unimportant day. When was the last time you giggled over the simple things in life. It is not about what we do, but the attitude in which we do it. Breakfast is much more fun on the back porch in the morning. Sometimes the simple life is the good life. If you could wish upon a star tonight, what would you wish. Looking for someone who wants to have a lasting relationshipmeet for some good conversation to break the ice and go to movie or someplace to slow dance and enjoy each others company. just be each others friend first date and have fun and laugh and enjoy the evening. sometime end the night with a soft kiss and gentle hug and make plans for the second date and go in the house smiling and thinking of seeing the person again. some weekend plan a picnic and fishing just be ourselves relax and enjoy some of my home cooking in the picnic basket. you clean the fish and i will cook them for you lol. Sitting under the stars smiling, laughing, getting acquainted telling each other about ourselves. Build the trust in each other. watch a firefly, make a wish when we see a falling star. take a walk in the dark in the full moon. Lisen for a owl to hoot or a coyote to howl enjoy the nature and each other , make plans for the next date. A Strong ManThe strength of a man isn't seen in the width of his shoulders. It's seen in the width of his arms that encircle and protect you.The strength of a man isn't in the deep tone of his voice. It is in the gentle words he whispers. The strength of a man isn't in the words he speaks. It's in how he keeps his word. The strength of a man isn't how many buddies he has. It's how good a friend he is to his children. The strength of a man isn't in how respected he is at work. It's in how he is respected at home. The strength of a man isn't in how hard he hits. It's in how tender he touches. The strength of a man isn't in the hair on his chest. It's in the heart . . . that lies within his chest. The strength of a man isn't in how many women he's loved. It's in whether he can be true to the ONE woman he has loved. The strength of a man isn't in the weight he can lift. It's in the burdens he can carry. The strength of a man isn't in how much food he eats from your table. It's in the effort he puts forth when you are unable. The strength of a man isn't in how he makes love. It's in the understanding that there is more to making love. . . than making love.A strong man puts God first,. . . family second. . . and himself third.Author Unknown
