A devoted animal lover, I volunteer with my dog, Jazz, in the Hospice Therapy Dog program. (We've also successfully completed Agility Dog training, coming to the inevitable conclusion that Jazz has ultimately more forward gears than I!). The outdoors nurture my soul, especially kayaking Florida's backwaters and bicycling to wherever. I love casual home entertaining, good conversation, playfulness and laughter, dancing, playing bridge, social poker with the neighbors, interactive games of all kinds--especially word games. I tend to be curious by nature, genuine and casual; spur of the moment plans fit easily--and usually turn out to be some of the best times. I love God and country and spent 4 years with the USO, based in Washington, DC, during the Viet Nam era. The "life dance" is full of surprises and I try to speak and live my truth. That's the part that can't be defined by words...everything unravels in its own good time--and, from here, YOU decide if you pick up the beat!! UPDATE: My beautiful silver hair is now just below the shoulder! Got to get an updated photo. UPDATE: Cecelia adopted me. She's a 3 year old Border Collie and a real charmer! I have now adopted Eva, a Cav mix. Real cutie! Loves her big sister!I need to post a new photo but haven't had a chance. I have cut my hair short and natural silver. It actually looks better and I am enjoying it, hope you do too. Still working on those extra pounds but getting there. I am interested in meeting a sincere, honest and fun loving man for friendship and ultimately love and a long term relationship. A sense of humor is necessary, I can laugh at myself, can you? I enjoy family gatherings and cook outs around my pool. I do still spend time (not too often) with my former husbands family and value their love and friendship. I have 2 grown sons and grandchildren. "Must Love Dogs" I have two dogs that are as much family members as my sons. I enjoy dining out, golf, movies and playing the Wii.
