I would love someone who enjoys a casual night talking, taking walks, or simply sharing a cup of coffee. I would like to start any relationship as friends and see where it goes from there. I ultimately would like that soul mate that so many of us are looking for. A sense of humor is important. I would love someone who is involved in the community, loves people, and animals. I think a sense of confidence is important but am not into controlling attitudes. I enjoy togetherness and independence. I am a romantic. I most admire honesty. I have 3 kids and 2 wonderful grandchildren. I would like someone who does not see someone's skin but can look into their eyes and see their soul, can look at a handicapped child and not see the disability, someone who can see the good in others, someone who watches a sunset and can see God, someone who not only sees beauty in nature but in their fellow man. I am very active and healthy. I love to bike. I enjoy life and am thankful to have wonderful friends and family. I would rather spend a day outdoors than sitting in front of a TV. I would like to share my life with someone who wants an honest relationship. I crave the kind of relationship where there is mutual respect and love. In reality, I want to share my life with someone but not to dominate or to be dominated. I have great friends and want to continue to share some of my life with them. I want to be able to share thoughts at the end of the day. I want to have a person who is interested in my life, thoughts, desires, etc. and I in turn would love to give that back to them. I guess I truly do want that "Best Friend" type of relationship. My latest loves include contra dancing/waltz, kayaking and learning to fly fish. I love the outdoors. If given a choice between kayaking or shopping....I would choose kayaking (unless I am shopping for a contra dance dress!)Meet somewhere to have coffee, dinner, or a low-key get together.

    Time for an update...A little window into my life as it stands. I work for Eastern Health, on the weekends i'm usually out with friends. In the warmer seasons it's camping, hiking, swimming, canoeing, biking, playing tennis, softball.
