Thank you for stopping by. I'm flattered when someone likes my pics. But if you actually READ about me, it shows true intent. I'd like to start by saying if I peek at your profile and didn't contact you please don't be offended, I'm rarely the first one to make contact..kinda shy to start. PLEASE have a photo. It's just too scary out there. Disclosure: I posted that I do not drink.. It's an on and off thing. I don't mind if you do... just not into sloppy drunks or abusive behavior. And I have to say.. I understand your paranoia that after the ex got your stuff that ALL women are gonna take you to the cleaners.. but it's not true. Men don't want commitment because some greedy chick spoiled it for the rest of us. I don't want your STUFF. Your Toys make the relationship FUN but not what draws me in.. NICE DOES. If you don't have marriage as your end goal because your sitting on your pot of gold more than wanting love... MOVE ON. I want to be in an honest relationship.. a LEGAL one eventually. I'm old school and am not going to let guys USE me either. If I wanted that.. I could be trailer trash. I'm not a Fake,in ANY aspect. I don't try to impress, i just hope I will be impressive to the right man for me. Looking for a nice man that I can see myself snuggling with for the rest of my life. All women want to be treated like a princess, with different ideas of what it means. For me it isn't about buying things. Its more of how you talk to me,respect my feelings/opinions, come get me if my car breaks down, a flower from the yard as you walk in from work, a call during the day to say "I was thinking of you". I like to do mushy things back...please be ok with that. I like spontaneous and love surprises but not SNEAKY secrets. Would love to have someone show me new things (with the exception of life threatening or Freakish stuff). Everyone has imperfections and some baggage, I'm not exempt, ITRY not to wear my heart on my sleeve, but am pretty much an open book. There's usually a story to everyone's journey. I want an open Man, who doesn't mind sharing his past. It's who you are & helps me to understand you better. BTW...guys lie about their ages a lot on this site. WOW...who woulda thunk it? My friends are proud of how much I've grown. I was so sad in the early stages of divorce (I think it's a given for a bit), I've been able to pick myself up, dust off and Keep going. I'm proud that I don't give up when my situations get hard. I work to make it better, even if it takes a while for a good ending. Ive learned how to own a home by myself, pay the bills (not all fun for sure, but I'm a survivor and proud of it), I'm excited I can use SOME power tools all by myself now (recently a chain saw.. MUA HA HA HA!!!). I'm not well off financially, so if you're looking for a career woman w/ lots o money...sorry, stop reading now. I can feed myself/dog have a roof over my head. I'm a Swede (Swedes Pamper) I do miss being the homemaker. I don't mind working to contribute. I'm a hard worker/ have good work ethics. I'm generous to a fault. It hurts when I can't be doing for others. I'm wanting to stay close to my grand babies, daughters and dear friends, but relocating is negotiable, but given the choice, PREFER the NW. My youngest Daughter/two Gbabies live here (Tacoma). Oldest and her family in Spokane. Family in Bham and Oregon. I long to have strong arms holding me safely in front of the fire he stoked. My Heart is Right and Good. I Still look for the best in everyone and hoping that the world isn't all bad, but not a pushover either. I try to learn from past experiences. I want to be up front by saying if you are just looking for a love em and leave em lifestyle.. please don't toy with me. I'm looking for more than that. I'm Way too old for games and childish selfish behavior. Dating has gotten way focused on HOOKING UP, and not much finding the person you want to grow old with. I'm passionate, but picky (not shallow..well..Ok, I'm human and SOME STUFF grosses me out. Filthy teeth stained from Tobacco, or poor hygiene etc.) with whom I will give my heart and body to. I'm worth it though, I promise. I'm not a prude, but have no problem waiting for the right man. I will let my heart and intuition lead me as to when and where that all takes place. Every situation/couple is different. I want to find love again. The dog is good company, but it's not the same. I want to laugh, giggle and be silly. It would be cool to find a guy that can get hit with a snowball, water balloon or hosed down in the summer playfully without being pissy about it. Play back!! I am a HUGE softy, I TRY to please everyone, usually at my expense. I have mostly upbeat happy days, I'm not without my sad days I worry about friends/family and the bills sometimes. If your mean. I'll cry...COUNT ON IT! I HATE MEAN! If you are mean too often...I'M OUT. Won't do that for yrs and yrs ever again. So if you like to poke at or run others down to elevate yourself GO AWAY! Also I cringe at men who Brag about their abilities in bed (well it's ok once we're a couple ha ha), to me...that's pathetic. Usually men who do that NEED to sell themselves. It's creepy. I am attracted to a strong silent confidence. Good at your job, hobbies and abilities to please your mate...that will all be known in time. Be nice to me, show me respect, tenderness, and loyalty...and maybe spoil me now and then...I'm gonna be putty in your hands. Had to take the pics down of my car.. RUDE people were flirting just to get me to sell it to them.. Tacky. I'll share a few dreams. Would LOVE to have a cabin to escape to. favorite activities to do or learn... fly fish. get physically fit, outdoor activities, camping, boating, watch Seahawks live, to play on a jet ski/snowmobile. Like motorcycles & ATVs. Prefer Sun over Snow. Love Muscle cars(own one). traveling states via RV, a cruise. Want to "pay it forward" kindness given from folks who helped me through really rough times. To have a sweetie to work side by side gardening, home projects etc., snuggle, enjoy cooking breakfast with,dance with (even if it's the living room to favorite songs).Someone who likes NASCAR ...BONUS,maybe travel to see a few live races. I used to race a mini-stock at Spanaway Speedway. I'm a social gal but love my alone time with my sweetie. I think it's sexy as heck if a guy can sing/play an ***, but not necessary as I can't sing nor play at all. I sound like a coyote in heat. ;o) A nice man, with a playful smile and soulful eyes and is as totally interested in me as I am of him. Someone EXCITED to start the rest of our lives together. Who will love my family as I will do for yours.Someone protective of me. Someone who wont be a jerk if I gain a lb now and then.. and will go WITH ME to walk it off or go to the gym if I do. A Best friend!I'm finding the first dates to feel like a job interview and not very real and relaxing. I'm fairly uncomfortable with just sitting at a diner or coffee shop staring at each other wondering if I have something in my teeth and being nervous. A meal isn't necessary to impress me, I can't afford to dine dutch every time I want to meet someone (not that I have ventured out much, still pretty cautious), and I don't think it's fair to the guy to have the expense with the risk of no connection. I just prefer to be doing something interesting. Maybe street fair, walk in the park, feed ducks etc..Second dates are more for dining and investing a little more energy/expense etc. because your not TRYING to impress, but are genuinely interested and want to share. I Was an at home Mom for many years and it's time to focus on myself and my sweetheart. I'm NOT fat,but a little squishier than I want to be ;o). My pictures are current except one is 5 yrs old. I'm pretty close to the same weight. UPDATE: Lost 20 lbs in less than a month. Woo Hoo! PS.. I have a 5 year old dog and she's been there for me when nobody else was. Please... if you're interested in me, don't ask me to give up my dog (yep.. i was asked if I would get rid of my dog even before they met her). YOU will ALWAYS come first. Oh a couple more important things about me. I know I may not be popular in this state, don't care...politically I lean more to the right. I believe people should be passionate and can even get angry about injustices but CRUEL or condescending name calling will stop my interest dead in its tracks. Sorry... Life is too short to be cruel over different politics/religion. Im passionate about emergency preparedness/self sufficiency, but haven't had the funds to stay on top of it lately. FYI...Women like men in fitted jeans too. Baggy is not sexy. And Too many profiles saying "I want NO DRAMA!! Really? How old are you? Life happens, and part of life means occasional drama... Please don't contact me if you're such a woosey that you can't handle a little stress once in a while.. I've swam up that difficult river.. so Put your big boy boxers on and Grow a pair.. LOL! Just sayin.. lol
