About Me

I'm an attractive, intelligent, articulate woman with a healthy, somewhat warped sense of humor, who is generally taken for 10 years younger than I actually am. What can I say? My parents endowed me with good genes! I'm happy single but I could be happier with the right man. I'm not lonely or needy but I would like a real partner ... someone who shares some of my interests but brings new possibilities of his own & is willing to share them. I'm open to new experiences, new ideas, new perspectives. I have a handsome Rhodesian Mix, Carson, whom I rescued a year ago. We completed Therapy Dog Certification & are volunteering locally. We also adopted two kittens (brother & sister) whom Carson met at an Adoption Fair. My son is "all grown up", living in NYC & doing well, recently married with no kids yet, unless you count their two cats, LOL. However, I'd love to share kids and/or grandkids with a partner & I'm happy to share my friends & family in return. As a Realtor, I don't work a "normal" ***schedule. I'm looking forward to being semi-retired & trying new adventures. It would be wonderful to have a fellow traveler as I explore uncharted waters. A spirit of adventure, a sense of humor and a passion for Life would be a great start ... with the right chemistry, it could be a memorable journey!What it comes down to is this: Two people should truly enjoy each other's company ... they should be attracted to each other on various levels (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually)... they should enhance the quality of each other's lives and they should bring out the best in each other, plain and simple.     It is mandatory that you put God first in your life. When your priorities are in order then everything else falls into place. I would like to find someone who I could first be friends with and see where it goes from there. I want someone who would enjoy going to church with me. If you don't want to sit next to me in church, it will not work. Some guys are put off by this. I look at this way. Do you believe in God because that is mandatory? I want a man who will be willing to spend 2 hours a week doing this even if it is just to make me happy. I believe your relationship with God is between you and God. That is not mandated, but it is mandated that you believe in God and understand He created us to worship Him. I am looking for is a man who does not have a hard heart. I would be willing to do something for a man I cared about, such as football games or going to the races, etc, if that was something that he wanted to do. That is part of the compromise that goes on in a relationship. I want a man with integrity. A man who will do what he says he will do. A man who understands that even if no one sees and knows what you are doing, that man will still do the right things. A man like that does not cheat. When he makes a commitment, he keeps that commitment. I have been cheated on and know that I never want to experience that again. It hurt my heart. It hurt my confidence. It hurt everything about me. I trusted the person and believed him. It makes you question every conversation I ever had with him. I see women start to question if they are loveable. They question if that person ever loved them or was that a lie too. It takes time to work thru the scars of something like that. I am thankful that God erases those scars and *** hating, I know that happiness is in my future. I just have to find the man who recognizes some of those good qualities God has *** me.
