Looking for: man. In age: 41-61
Hi all, I have rheumatoid arthritis, it is under control but sometimes it makes me quite tired and unable to walk too far. I'm looking to meet someone who does'nt judge a book by it's cover & can see the beauty within, as we are all very different.I have four children & two beautiful grandchildren, which I love too bits xxxI am looking for frienship, company for days out, cinema partner(boring on your own lol) and maybe more.I'm an independant, honest, caring, easy going & tactile woman. I'm looking for the same in a man, if you are out there?I love motorbikes, used to ride myself a few years back. There's nothing like the open road with the wind in your face (usually the rain too) I've been to a few rallies, rock n blues my all time fav.I like all music anything from ABBA to ZZTop. Like live music whether at a gig or in my local.Like most types of movies from action thrillers to girlie flix, at the cinema or at home with a bottle of rose.On a first date I would probably meet up for a coffee and a chat so we can get to know each other then take it from there.

(I had to pick a "descriptor" and "Music Lover" would be more accurate but, not an option.) Just checking to see what's out there. I'm a big baseball fan - the Red Sox are my team but I also follow (to a lesser degree) both the Giants and A's. I like walking on the beach (I know everyone says this, but I actually do it), seeing live music, dive bars, hiking, exploring and traveling. I have been sticking close to home on the weekends (enjoying the beach and Off The Grid on Saturdays) but I'd love to find someone who would inspire me to get out more. I do go out a lot but going out by myself gets old after awhile. It would be fun to have company! I'm not a big TV watcher but I do love Survivor, Amazing Race, Parenthood and Rookie Blue. My favorite musicians include Matchbox Twenty, Counting Crows, Old 97s, Beatles, Zeppelin, The Alarm and Beth Hart (went to England last year to see Mike Peters of the Alarm and Beth Hart live). I'm originally from the East Coast but I've been out here for ***years - not really a "newbie" but do find that I interact much better with East Coast people. You know who you are. :) If any of this sounds appealing, please message me! And by "message me", I mean send me a message. :)

Hmmm... I suppose this is where I sell myself....Let's see. I'm a typical Gemini - including all characteristics good and bad. I enjoy long walks in the ghetto after sunset (yay, the Heights!). I prefer my steaks medium rare. The word most often used to describe me is: quirky. I was a Chem major, Anthro minor (yes, I accept the "nerd" title willingly). I dance all the time - badly. I don't karaoke, but I'll watch it for entertainment's sake! I love my job and what I do. Be warned, I'm a bit of a workaholic, but I also know how to take time out and enjoy life. I'm an active Monday night poker player (as long as it doesn't cost me more than $20!). About once every week/two weeks, my foodie friends and I go try a new cuisine/restaurant somewhere in town. My little brother is my best friend followed by a quirky ass FTM queer. I'm sooooo a country girl. I spend at least one or two weekends a month out on my parent's farm which can include anything from fishing to just sittin' on the back porch with my feet propped up on the banister watching the cows and the lovely sunset. A few interesting facts about me: - billiards player - gun shooter- dog owner x ***love Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central - sushi lover - poker player- avid reader - preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse- coupon cutter- anal retentive clean freak - in love with Michelle Rodriguez- dual citizenshipI want to know more people who color outside the lines and can't quite be described as anything but unique. Sense of humor and sensible shoes are a must. Smiles are attractive and so are long eyelashes. And it is an absolute MUST that you have viewed "The Princess Bride" at one point in your life, or you will be forced by me to endure two hours of the bestest movie ever. I'll even provide snacks.ADDENDUM A: I am not currently looking for a relationship. Or even dating, for that matter. I want to meet new people as friends and going-out buddies ***can never be surrounded by too many good friends. I'm still single but this does not necessarily mean that I'm scrambling to find someone to "complete me". I'm emotionally/mentally/fiscally stable so if you're down for having a rockin' new friend who loves to try new foods and enjoys road trips, hit me up.ADDENDUM B: Meh... Whatever happens, happens. :)ADDENDUM C: Cancellation of Addendum B.Hmmm.... describing a first date is a difficult question to answer. I suppose that's really dependent on the person, right? No one should ever have a standard cookie cutter mold for first dates. That's, well.... just boring, eh?First dates are about talking, listening and learning. Carnivals/fairs are good places. Museums and parks for the inner artist. Mini-golf, anyone?
