What can I say about myself... I have a wide variety of interests and I love meeting new people and getting out to try something I've never done before. I'm a very social person and I am pretty good at getting people to come out of their shell. I am a huge music buff and a bit of a shoe freak (like most women I know). I bought a house in early ***so I'm enjoying being a homeowner, even though I get frustrated by the amount of things that I know nothing about fixing. I'm a Redwings fan and I like going out to concerts and other events around town. Whitecaps games are fun in the summer. Where else is it as acceptable to people watch, get a tan, and have a beer in the middle of the afternoon on a nice day? I never go anywhere without a smile and a cheerful attitude. It makes a difference in how I interact with people every day. Laughter and a good sense of humor are essential in life!I work very hard and I love my job, but working so much makes it a bit difficult to meet men that I would actually date. I want to spend my free time with friends and people I care about. I'm interested in meeting someone who truly wants to be a partner in a relationship and get to know me. I equally enjoy going out on the town or a quiet night in. It just depends on the company and my mood at the time. I love to cook. I write a cooking blog and recently started my own business on the side as well.     I've decided it' s time to move into the next phase of my life and find a nice man to share it with . I have to admit to being a very girly woman, love make-up, nice clothes, good perfume - in summary I just love being a woman!! I enjoy teaching papercrafting and have a couple of groups of ladies meeting at my house once a week - nice to have female friends but........ Love visiting historical buildings and museums, portrait galleries are wonderful, those people actually lived and loved and cried and laughed. Fascinating! Have travelled to the USA which I loved, especially The Smoky Mountains and of course New York. Was lucky enough to have visited Dubai having had friends working there (back home now!), along with the usual European countries.Am interested in geocaching (google it) which means a good walk in often undiscovered parts of our beautiful country with my dog. Great fun but it can get muddy and prickly but have the boots and waterproofs so no problem and it's worth it...Have 2 grown up children and 5 grandchildren that I adore (all grandparents say that don't they?) they try to keep me updated with music but prefer blues, soul and 60s, 70s and 80s. Love Coldplay though and have recently discovered Indie although as long as it's 'music' and not rap! I'll listen with an open mind...Basically, I enjoy life but would enjoy it more I think if I had someone to share it with. Would be nice to hear from you and as my parents taught me good manners I will always respond to messages.A coffee, drink or just a walk with the dog and see if there are mutual interests and a feeling we would like to meet again.
