Time for a profile update... Are you looking for the profile of a witty, intelligent, attractive, genuine and young at heart guy? (admittedly most men like to think they are still young at heart and mind but the body lets them down.) You and 90% of the women on here it seems, what you are reading is my profile, make of it what you will. I like to think I speak openly, I am laid back, genuine, caring and honest (so please don't ask me if your bum looks big, if you feel an honest answer will offend - I was asked that question before by a g/f once... she is an ex-g/f now...say no more.)I asked a few friends to describe me to add their comments to my profile, but their responses weren't printable so I gave up on that idea, so you will have to put up with my solo attempt.I have been single for longer than I should admit, believing that something I read many years ago makes perfect truth... 'you can't be happy with someone else, if you aren't happy with yourself.' I am finally very content with my life, doing what makes me happy most of the time and having reached a point in my life where I have learnt to listen more to my head, than my heart (some skeletons in my closet learning that lesson.) The result, by some peoples standards I could be considered quite a hermit, preferring quiet nights in, to nights down the pub. I enjoy cycling (yes I can be found lycra clad, cycling around the lanes of Berkshire/Oxfordshire at the weekends... having ridden ***miles in one day recently - an achievement to which I am proud and not ashamed to shout about) I enjoy movies, travel, occasional camping trips, good food (especially Chinese) and cosy nights in. Oh and I love 80's music, now a regular at the Henley Rewind Festival, every August.To save you asking, I have no children, I have never been married and I don't own my own home. No children as I would only want to have children if I was in a steady relationship. Never married because I never met the right woman at the right time in my life (which isn't saying I never met the right woman... just not at the right time. ) ..and I have been on the property ladder in the past but I am happier with the flexibility that renting offers. Oh and I am a non-drinker (by choice.)I am looking to meet someone I find attractive - both physically and mentally. Someone that accepts me as I am and willing to change me slowly. I can be spontaneous. If I get the urge to do something, let's do it now, why wait?I am actually 48 but am unable to change it on my profile. Not all my pictures are recent but they are all ME and they get changed as and when I get new ones I can bare to post on here.
