I guess this is the part where I ramble on a bit about myself as a method of introduction. Here goes...I was born and raised in this area of Massachusetts. I moved out to California when I was 19 and made a life for myself on the far northern coast of the state. No, not the sunny, warm, movie star part of California. Humboldt County, amongst the giant redwood trees and fog strewn, rocky coastline. I continued to visit my family and friends back here every year, and never really shook the feeling that I was an East Coaster deep down in my heart and truly belonged here with my people.Fast forward to the present... Due to a series of unforseen events, one of which is the declining health of my mother and the need for her to have a family member overseeing her affairs, I find myself living here again.
