I'm a believer - I believe honesty, trust and friendship is the beginning of a perfect relationship. I have made some wrong decision in my life but I have used them as a stepping stone in my journey of life and have learned from them. I was blessed by given the opportunity to watch my grandchildren grow into beautiful smart young adults and move on in their lives. As the years pass I realize I would love to have one more chance at love. I have been single for ***years and although I am comfortable with myself I miss the conversations, the butterflies in my tummy when that special one walks into a room, dinner out, a walk in the evening to enjoy the sun set, a best friend, someone to share the memories of the day, someone to laugh over dumb mistakes and so many other things that go with being a couple.I believe exercise and healthy eating has contributed to my sound mine and good physical health. I do enjoy a glass of wine or a couple of drinks occasionally. I enjoy a lot of different types of music with country being my favorite. I retired as an Executive Secretary to the Barre, Vermont City Engineer and moved to Manassas, VA in February ***, to be with my daughter and family along with my dear brother who I sort of watched over until his passing in July ***. While I lived in Manassas, Virginia I enjoyed everything the DC area offers and treasured the time I spent with my family. As time moves on and everyone grows and have their own lives I realized it was time for me to move on and enjoy the things I have always wanted to do. In November 20I3 I decided to move Florida and visited Florida the first week of December and was lucky enough to find a beautiful Condo in paradise. On January 2, ***I arrived in Venice, Florida where I presently live.I served 14 years in the US Army Reserves and love my country. I love dancing, concerts, watching most sports, the sun, boating, walking on sandy beaches, riding my bicycle, conversation and my goal is to learn to play golf. I recently started playing pickleball and started bowling on a league after about 20 years. BTW: I'm sure you have a cute little dog or cat, a nice boat, pretty flowers, birds you enjoy but until I meet you (I'm not that interested) I want to see some current pictures of you. Then if we meet and enjoy each other I will be interested in seeing the rest of the things that make you happy..
