About Me

I have to admit the thought of going to meet a total stranger makes me nervous. I need to know that a man I choose to meet likes some of the things I enjoy (especially some of my music).I do need to see a picture of anyone I plan to meet (mainly for safety reasons)NOW for FUN INFO!! I am a ROCKER! I am in awe of GOOD music (preferably Rock'n Roll (Chuck Berry to METAL, Blues, New Age & World Beat...along with some other stuff - BUT not too much Rap & twangy country is just irritating). I do enjoy a lot of country(Johnny Cash was one of the best concerts I went to). I can not sing or play a musical note, which makes me a just a great fan.I love a great cup of properly brewed tea. Enjoy family events with my children.I am a life long Saskatchewan Roughrider Fan.Lets not forget the OILERs, of which I am also a fan (I can not describe myself as 'life long' though). I had another hockey team in my 'dark (red)' past.... BUT PLEASE NOTE: I married incredibly young & had my 1st child at the age of only 17 & the last at 22 years. I have 3 children the oldest is my only son, and my 2 daughters are in happy marriages & have 5 children between them. My oldest daughter had her 1st child at a young age. SO this means that I have an 18 year old grand daughter. My 1st Grandbaby was born when I was 38 years old! (My dear Mom was 39 when she had me!) Age is truly a number & I cherish every year I have lived!(mmm some more than others ... LOL!)I think it would be nice to meet a man & just have good conversations, have fun, enjoy events. If sparks fly ....I would love to listen to good music. A walk would be nice. And I would enjoy a good cup of tea!
