I had difficulty picking one word to describe my personality, but I am someone who appreciates nature, appreciates quality but lives fairly simply, enjoys stimulating conversations, and likes to learn about and experience new things. I like to look nice, but I would definitely not consider myself a fashionista! My musical tastes are many and varied. I don't necessarily like all artists, but I've found something I like in most if not all styles. Some current tv favorites are Castle, Elementary, Big Bang Theory, Scandal, Shark Tank. Activities I enjoy include swimming, kayaking, walking and yoga. I'd like to meet a person with a good sense of humor, kind heart and a genuine soul who can hold up their end of a conversation. I have a very low threshold for BS and insincerity. I prefer that someone just be themselves, and if we click, we click. I see intimacy as a process. I value the physical side of a romantic relationship, but I feel that becoming physical before allowing some time to get to know each other has the potential to interfere with the ultimate quality of intimacy. (this may seem obvious to some, but I've found that not everyone feels this way) I like to do things outdoors (walking, gardening, swimming, kayaking) and I like movies, music, and other live performances. The last movie I saw was Chef (I enjoyed it), last performance I saw was Sandra Bernhard (interesting) and last live music I saw... I can't remember, but I have plans to see Steve Winwood and Tom Petty. I am looking forward to that!I don't drink alcohol. I don't care if someone I date drinks - just know that I won't be drinking with you. I have learned from experience that this can be an issue for some people...Something low key, like some conversation over a cup of coffee.
