At this point in my life I am just taking things as they come and enjoying them for what they are. This includes the new people that enter my life. There would be nothing greater than the love of my life to come along during this time but if that doesn't happen then that's just fine with me too.I enjoy going to community events, festivals, movies, cooking. The past 2 years I have really gotten into football and even won the football pool at work one week....can't wait for the season to start again! I have loved watching boxing for years. I know, strange sport for a woman to enjoy, right? Ha! I'm not a violent person... honest! :) I also absolutely love going to live theatre shows i.e. plays, opera, variety. I am comfortable dressing up or down. I have been to my share of black-tie events and have enjoyed fabulous dinners at gourmet restaurants. On the other side, I recently had a blast at my first demolition derby.... I have been camping and fishing and have had great times doing these also. At times there's nothing more fun than dancing the night away while listening to a live band play. And if you challenge me to some lazer-tag, you'd better get your A-game on..... cuz YOU are goin' DOWN Baby!!! :)An aspect that is important in my life is volunteering. I have been involved with the homeless, Birthright, schools and church fundraisers. I currently make blankets for AIDS babies and the elderly. Also, I volunteer my time at a Veteran's Home and for city committees. Most recently, I have joined the Red Cross Disaster Relief Services.I am interested in an affectionate, confident man who has integrity and an optimistic attitude. I enjoy being around a man who is still enthusiastic about life in general, is still career oriented and doesn't have the attitude of "been there, done that....so let's just watch TV". First dates are best keeping it short and sweet I think but after that I like variety. Even though I enjoy trying new things, I also enjoy just chilling at home. However, I don't enjoy being a zombie and watching endless TV......instead let's cook some new ethnic dish, learn a language together, listen to music and fast dance or slow dance in the living room, have a discusion on world events or the stock market while we cuddle up together, laugh together watching the latest Youtube hit or sit on the porch swing with a glass of wine! Please! ANYTHING but watch TV all night!
