Lets see...I'm 31! I have a degree in Jewellery Design and Metalsmithing. I'm currently working mixed shifts doing healthcare related office work and also running my own jewellery business (during whatever hours I have left after shift work, jewellery and sleeping). Neither are jobs that really enable me to be meeting many people,and neither was my job prior to this. Bad luck!!Likes and dislikes... I'd like to think that I'm a fairly open-minded person. I'll try most things once. I'll listen to almost any type of music, I like a lot of different genres of film (with the exception of horror movies like The Ring or The grudge etc...I just can't seem to watch that stuff) What else... I actually really like watching sports. Whether or not I'm good at playing them, however, is another story....I can be really shy. It can be annoying, but it is what it is. From what I'm told it tends to come across as disinterest or something like that, but I swear it's just probably me sitting there thinking "Holy sh*t I'm so nervous!" That being said, once I get to know someone I can be incredibly sarcastic and sometimes my verbal filter becomes somewhat non-existent.What else.....I'm tall. I know it already says that in the above info, but I think some people kind of breeze over that info. I'm almost 6 feet tall and to be completely honest I'm not so into being the taller one in a relationship. I suppose it always depends on the person doesn't it? I'm also a plus sized lady. I love and respect myself the way I am, whether I'm wearing size 24 or size ***"10" isn't going to happen -lol-) I tend to expect the same positivity and respect from anyone in my life, as that's how I choose to treat people as well..........Should I get off my soapbox now? :)That's all I've got for now, I won't write any more of a novel in this little space than I already have. I am a happy, healthy, and an honest, open lady. How will that benefit you? You probably won't have to wonder what I am thinking and if you're having a not so pleasant day I'll do whatever I can to turn it around. Whatever is happening is just life and it seems easier to try to make the best of it, in other words I like to think of myself as adaptable.I'm open to new adventures, really about the only things I won't try are sky diving, bungee jumping or hang gliding...they would probably all be fun but it's about this fear of falling! Hip hop and rap music get on my last nerve fairly quickly, beyond that I'm open. It would be nice to find a relationship that is as comfortable as my favorite pair of shoes. The type of man I'm looking for is one that is confident (not arrogant) respects himself and treats others with equal respect, and who appreciates and values the companionship of a great woman. One that can be as competitive and boastful around others as pleases him but realizes that in an intimate relationship that most often when you win you lose. One who knows how to listen as well as he can talk, One that is comfortable being himself around me. I believe I want what most others want out of life, to find someone they can trust and love, be themself with, laugh with and not be judged and to have as much happiness, harmony and peace as possible.Think this would be by mutual agreement. Would want to do something where we could get to know one another....conversation would be a good start.
