People think of me as an "all-together" type of person who likes to help others. I have been told I really don't look my age (that's a good thing). I am very versatile and can have fun on a motorcycle or at a black-tie party (I'm most comfortable in jeans with a nice blouse).I'm proud of my little house that I share with 2 little dogs. They keep me company but are no replacement for the human companionship that I miss. I enjoy an intelligent conversation with someone who has a good outlook on life. I know where I want to be - do you?My social life is quiet - it's no fun dining out or travelling alone. Would be nice to sit on a deck, enjoy a nice bar-b-q or a walk on a beach with someone special. Going for drives, hanging out at the lake, flea markets, ...... all the comfortable things a couple does together. Do you enjoy playing cards, bowling, board games? Can you make me laugh?When I'm not working (part-time), I enjoy reading a good mystery-thriller novel, shopping, or relaxing in my backyard. l'd love to have a partner to spoil.I try to keep things simple and take life a day at a time, grateful for my health and all that life has given me. Only thing missing is someone to share it with.At our age, it is inevitable that we have children and/or grandchildren. I like to think I am adventurous, I once went skydiving an hour after I saw a man die because his parachute did not open, but working on statistics it was probably the best time to go. I probably have way too many shoes than necessary. I love to cook and bake. Cleaning is therapeutic to me. I am dedicated to my job and school. I work hard but at times play harder. I am very loyal and expect the same in a partner. I am sarcastic at times. Simple things keep me happy and amused. I love doing arts and crafts, I can spend hours in Michael's finding projects to do. The characteristics that mean the most to me are honesty, integrity, ambition and passion.

    I feel that if someone takes the time to hit you up and want to talk when they send you a message the most one can do is have the heart to text back and just say sorry not interseted and says thanks for the message .
