Hello! I consider myself a sophisticated woman that enjoys the finer things, however I am not snobbish at all and have friends from every walk of life. Every thing I have I have worked hard for, nothing was given to me. I've been through tragedy and great happiness in life, and I see each day as a gift to be enjoyed. I don't "artificially" take care of myself. I believe in yoga, pilates, hiking/walking and eating healthy to remain looking young and vibrant. Most people tell me I look much younger than I am (thank you!). Oh, and yes, I'm a real redhead - I seem to get that question a lot. The qualities that I look for when meeting men include intelligence, a positive outlook on life, someone considerate, romantic, affectionate and family-oriented. I love to laugh and like dry humor. I also prefer men with somewhat of an athletic background or those who are physically active and health conscious. Good communication skills and trust are obviously very important aspects as well. A genuine connection that is meaningful and deep is not easy to find and gets even harder to find the older we get, but I remain optimistic :)I have a wonderful 21 year old son that I've raised alone (by choice) and have spent that time developing an awesome relationship with him. I wanted to give him a life free of a revolving door of men and raise him in a secure and stable environment. Now that he is grown and on his own I'm focusing on myself and my love life. I do not wish to have anymore children of my own, but am open to dating men with or without children. Go home, giddy and satisfied, to text each other back and forth and fill in the blanks until our next meeting. Date two, we smile, we blush, we trip over our words. Let the nervousness of anticipation take us as we tour through the city, enjoying the sites and the culture of Vancouver. We attempt to forget our fumbling, and continue to get to know each other.
