It can be embarrassing sometimes. Hobbies are walks and hikes anywhere around the Island, weather permitting. Sorry, not into hiking to the top of a mountain in the winter! I'd rather be in a tropical climate every winter, but I'm not that independently wealthy yet. I enjoy a well crafted movie. I love cooking for family and friends. Dining out with good company is wonderful. I love trying new foods and new places. Of course the restaurant selection in Nanaimo isn't the greatest, but we are getting some new ones with culture and good food! I love the ocean. Just the smell of the salt water is amazing. Soooo, if you have an oceanfront property, you will definitely score points with me...lol! I try to workout at least a couple times a week, but I do yoga every day. I work a lot, but when I'm not working, I'm spending time exploring this wonderful island! Love a good glass of red/white wine by a fireside or a beer (now and then) on a patio. My deck is ocean view, so it does just fine too! I am spiritual, but not religious. I believe in a power or energy that we can create our world with. I am a globally minded person. I think of the world as belonging to all of us, regardless of race, age, sex, or even species. I believe there is plenty to go around and plenty to share. I hope a partner would have a similar outlook. My kids don't want to hang out with me much anymore so I have free time now. I am looking for a spiritual person who knows who they are and wants to share in life's journey. As a Gemini, I have a very open mind to what life brings and I thoroughly love changes and challenges!
