About Me

I have a bubbly, outgoing personality, almost always happy. Life is too short not to be, and I try to get all the good that I can out of every single day. No one promised us tomorrow.I own a gift shop and have been in business for 19 years. I work a lot of hours, but I love it. I spend every day making people happy. What a way to make a living!Somewhere along the way I turned into a "Homebody" I am never happier than when I am when I am in my kitchen cooking. My son is a chef, and I have really learned a lot from him. Little wine for the dish...little wine for me......Music playing...Stevie Ray Vaughn, Diana Krall, Shawn Mullins, good blues. Cooking and dancing. Nothing better. Maybe one thing. Being in my sanctuary I created. Coffee sitting in my swing in the morning. Wonderful way to start the day. End the day sometimes out there with a glass of wine. I do like to go out sometimes. Listen to a little live music and dance. I LOVE to dance.I started going to the gym about a year and a half ago. I try to go as much as time allows. Trying to do all I can to stay healthy. So far so good.WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR? First and fore most I would like to find a friend. That is the foundation from which everything else gains its strength. If someone comes along that rocks my world...THAT would be wonderful. Life is better if you have someone to share it with, but I don't need someone ***. I have been own my own for a long time now, and I can take care of ME. I do believe in commitment though. Guess I am from the OLD school on that idea. I have always been a One man woman. Wondering if I will ever find the one I want to be committed to again? I think he is out there. Till I find him. I am just going to enjoy dating. I am not interested in a long distance relationship. I don't consider an hour away as a long distance though. I was in a relationship with someone for 5 years that lived an hour away. I know I still would be if he had not passed away. I'm hoping to find someone again that thinks thatI am the most wonderful thing in the world, and I feel the same way about. It's like looking for a neddle in a haystack, but I'm going to keep looking. I'm not going to settle for anything less.First date???? Just meet for coffee or a drink. A picture or words can't tell you if there is any CHEMISTRY. Don't we wish it worked that way? You have to meet face to face to see if it's there.
