Since these things are never easy, I asked a few of my friends to give me one word that they think describes me - here is what I got - Vivacious, Giving, Fun, Adventurous, Spontaneous, Fashionable, Caring, Loyal, Swanky, and Fabulous. I love to travel anytime and anywhere, including day trips or long excursions. Yes everyone says this - but I have been to over 25 different countries and can't wait to see more. Have 9 more states left in the US on my bucket list! I have the best dog in the world that I got from the humane society, but really he's the one that rescued me. He's super loyal, protective, loving and fun. Now if I could just find a guy with those same qualities and more and I would be in heaven. Looking for someone who enjoys being outside on the water or snuggling up watching NCIS or Law Order, or getting in a heated game of cards - just enjoying each others company. Someone who knows the difference between Zone and Man to Man defense will play 18 holes with me even though he is way better but then we can laugh about it on the 19th hole. Better have your bags packed because I'm always up for the next stamp in my passport. Someone who is willing to start the next chapter in their life and build a partnership and when the time is right start a family. If you don't want children or don't already have children then we wouldn't be a good match as i believe that children are what keeps us young and are amazing! Someone who understands how to communicate and work through the little things that don't matter. Hmmmm,I could write a list of adjectives desribing who I am but it seems almost funny. Imagine being introduced to me. Extending my hand I smile my very best smile and say, "HI,I am Lisa, pretty, witty, and ever so bright. Maybe I should give this a try. I might make you laugh.One of a kind is a sentence I have heard so often I am sure it will part of my epitaph.I don't know if it is your kind. Life for me is good stuff, sometimes to be swallowed whole and sometimes to be savored. My daughter recently said, Mom you like everyone." I don't but I naturally start out that way. Naturally is the operative word here. Real, natural, nice, cultured, love nature but not earthy...whoops there go the adjectives. Creativity, art, music, faces, places of most kinds turn me on. Curiosity and a hunger for learning, being exposed to that which grabs the senses...being expossed to that which massages the senses...life is good. Tv isn't a big priority for me anymore, but I watch Grey's Anatomy, The Walking Dead, and Downton Abbey. DIY is my favorite station, I would watch almost any show they have. Someday I'd love to start my own small business of re-upholstering and rehabbing furniture. My 10 year plan also includes moving to California, I'm so tired of this Ohio weather!I'm very affectionate and attentive, and would love to find a guy that enjoys that and is that way also. I don't really drink, I have quit smoking, and I don't smoke weed or anything else... never have, never will. I am not a fan of facial hair, prefer guys who shave. I'd love to find a guy who likes to go places and do things with me, yet doesn't mind cuddling on the couch either. If you live with your parents, don't have a job, or don't have a car, please don't waste my time. I'm not looking to support a man financially. I don't need a man to take care of me, either. I just want someone to spend life's ups and downs with and grow old with. :)Movies aren't really good for first dates because you can't talk. Lunch or dinner would be great, maybe go for a walk afterward if it's nice out.
