About Me
Honesty, loyalty, and intelligence are among the things I value most in this life. However, nothing is of greater importance to me than a sense of humor. If you can make me laugh, I will *** you. I wouldn't have gotten this far in life without the ability to laugh at myself as well as bad situations. I guess I'm a really laid back person. It generally takes a lot to get me really fired up. I'd much prefer hanging out with one or two people, enjoying some beers around a fire *** turning every day into a grand adventure. For me, most of life's adventures occur in my head. I realize that makes me sound like some sort of introverted lunatic, but it was supposed to refer to my inherent creativity. I'm never bored, I'm always thinking about something and I have a certain talent for getting just about anyone to laugh. (Although the dry, essay-like manner in which this was written would imply otherwise)I'm an artist, I guess. At least, that's what my four years in college would indicate. I'm majoring in sculpture at a school that doesn't have sculpture as a major while simultaneously studying to get a teaching certificate in the field of art (What else?) This is my passion, and I'm really proud of it. To keep things simple, let's just say that I've come a very long way from where I started in life. I'm not where I want to be yet, I'm still growing.Every day, I'm working on improving myself - I eat healthy and frequently take long walks (usually hikes through the woods). These are small steps, but at least I'm taking them, and that's something. I'm really attracted to people who are my exact opposite. I'm fascinated by scientists (science in general, really) and I'm PARTICULARLY impressed by people who are good at math. My sense of humor is somewhere between dry and highly inappropriate - I'm witty and always quick with a comeback.I have a weird phobia of emotional intimacy. It takes a lot for me to open up and share my emotions/affection for people, but once I get there, I'm literally the most loving, caring, loyal and devoted person you'll ever know. I'm not really into the romance thing. To me, the ideal date involves beer, cartoons, and maybe some snuggling. I'm a pretty simple gal when it comes to relationships.I have a few tattoos and two nose piercings. I'm looking to get more tattoos in the future, maybe when I'm less desperately poor. Music is good. I particularly enjoy the many flavors of punk, grunge, underground hip hop, classical, country, electronic, etc. I'm kind of a work in progress and my reason for being on this site is less about finding someone who accepts me for who I am and more about finding someone who is willing to grow with me. At any rate, stick around - patience is key. Besides, I've been told I have pretty eyes. Eyes are good, right? I have two of them and they both work, so... I really love going to museums and I've always wanted to have a first date at one. p.s. I'm kind of a nerd, so... If you invite me over to play video games or watch some sort of science-related documentary, I will probably say yes.
