I am a 42 y/o health professional, widowed, no children. ***I place this add because, despite the frustrations in our search for meaningful friendships, we should never lose the faith and the certainty that one-day we will find at least one close friend. This experience exposed me to people of different cultures, religions, and beliefs, which gave me a better understanding of life and the human condition. 2=I worked in big university centers (i.e.; NYU/Mt. Working with people in areas affected by Famine, War, Natural Disasters, and Refugee Camps, was a very humbling experience, which changed my view of life, understand the importance of internal/spiritual achievements, and the irrelevant value of the external/material things, leading me to try to have a very active role in activities aimed at helping the less fortunate members of the community. ***A quiet, romantic place, overlooking the ocean, where surrounded by nature, we can enjoy both, talking and the silence. Where we can feel comfortable with each other, and: - know that it doesn't matter what the other does for a living...but, what the other aches for, and if will dare to dream of meeting our heart's longing. - know that doesn't matter how old or handsome we are... but, if we will risk looking like fools for love, for our dreams, for the adventure of being alive. - know that it doesn't matter what planets are squaring in our moon... but, if we have touched the center of your own sorrow, and if we have been opened by life's betrayals, or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain. - know that it doesn't matter the story of our misfortunes...but, if we can see Beauty even when it is no pretty every day, and if we can live with failure, and still stand and shout...” Yes"-
