Well, after a year, I figure I need to update this old, crusty profile, but I'll leave the boring, important stuff first and let you read the new info at the bottom :)After my 12 year marriage ended, I would say I am looking for a stable relationship to be in. My kids are very important to me and I want to provide a stable lifestyle and home for them as family is very important to me as all the material things in the world cannot replace family. Although I work in a factory, I still have farming in my blood. I love working on my yard and in my garden. For hobbies I collect old John Deere garden tractors, farm toys and about anything else farm related that is older or antique. Although with two young kids I don't have too much extra time I do like going to tractor shows, fleamarkets, swapmeets and auctions when possible. Having grown up on a farm, I do like animals as I have a herd of barn cats as well as a beagle. I also enjoy watching motorsports, everything from tractor pulls to NASCAR.Update: Well, after almost a year of trying online dating I can say it's been interesting. I've made several friends and even had one serious relationship, although it didn't work out. I've learned a lot, I will say that. I guess I just have to be determined and keep on fishing, no reason to quit now :)I also want to add I'm here to make new friends and possibly meet that special woman I've been looking for my whole life. I'm NOT here to play games, especially the one where I'm a pawn to make your guy jealous and step up to treating you like you want just because you can tell him you have another guy coming around. I really have better ways to spend what little free time I have than doing that.Update #2 OK, now that I've got all the boring stuff out of the way, I'll add a few more things you might find interesting. First off, I do value a sense of humor very much. If you can't laugh about life and at yourself, what can you laugh at? It does take me a bit to show that, as I need to know what makes you laugh first. I'm quite good at making fun of myself (I'm a guy after all, which makes for very good material, LOL!). I can be sarcastic and witty, I have times where I can belt out oneliners very easily :) Although I have my dork moments, I also do like intelect too. No, I'm not looking for a rocket scientest, but being able to have occasional, deep conversations is a plus. I feel I can be a hopeless romantic and like to do "old-fashioned" things like opening doors, paying for the date and such. Yes, I know all about the feminest movement, but, I still feel things like that are just "right" to do, and a lot of women seem to like being treated that way, like a lady. I can be easy to give out trust, but as a fair warning, lose that from me and it is very hard to gain back. I'm also affectionate, no, not sex on the sidewalk, but PDA are almost a must for me. I don't though just jump right in, it is all proportional to whatever stage the relationship happens to be in at the moment (so no, I'm not going to try and get up your shirt 5 minutes after meeting you for the first time, that goes back to treating you like a lady....). I'm far from being a prude though, I have a wild side, you just have to show me you want to see that. A gentleman that knows how to have fun :) True beauty is more than skin deep, as I can find physical beauty in almost any woman, but what lies in your heart means as much, if not more, to me.
