I recently transitioned from being a wanna-be urban-- I have a daughter that loves to chase around our myriad of chickens and a mutt cow-dog that helps "herd" whatever he can. I have never been married, own my own house, and work more than I would prefer. Three or four years ago, I would have described myself very differently than I do now. I was an adventurer, up for anything.... I worked hard and played harder. Having a child has changed me in ways I never could have seen. I'm still not your stereotypical single parent. We go on as many adventures as my energy can handle. Then we come home and regroup. My days are full, but I miss my friends. I miss companionship and conversation.... someone to eat the delicious food I cook when I remember how, and to cook for me when I forget. I am living my dream in many ways, but would love to find someone to share it with. Until I find that person, I am excited to meet good people here.
