About Me

Perception and choice are two key elements of my outlook on life.For several years, cooking has been my main focus professionally and has led me to some wonderful experiences and to work with excellent people. My ideal work environment is now transforming into helping people physically through massage *** simply through their palates. Within the next year or so, I would like to get my massage therapist degree and create a practice while simultaneously continuing my yoga, meditation, and martial arts studies. One day, I hope to open a facility where all of these interests are melded together to create a community of mental, physical, and spiritual support for those who seek it. Until then, I thoroughly enjoy each day at my current position cooking over a wood fired grill, grilling beautiful cuts of meat and vegetables while preparing a variety of different food items. It's a very fun and rewarding job, but I know I can do more. I want to be able to help more people. One day at a time is a mantra I carry with me. Even though I work quite a bit, I enjoy various activities in my spare time. My free space might be spent reading or writing letters to my pen-pals, running, hiking, biking, tending to my plants or cleaning. A nice cup of tea or coffee and some NPR or music is usually in the back ground as I go about my daily routines. Everything from bluegrass to techno to hip hop to folk to international to movie soundtracks make up the sounds behind the hum in my head as I bumble about my home. As the Aquarian nature is, I like my independence, but also want a partner in crime to go on adventures with and battle by my side during the zombie apocalypse. Support, communication, and cooperation are important for me. I want to have similar goals and be able to learn new things together with my partner. A few items I would like to expand my knowledge on in the future include other languages, natural medicine, and gardening. Pho and a round of disc golf or tacos and a nice walk. I'm open to a variety of activities, whether it be dropping in on your friends D&D game or trying real golf for the first time.... I think the clubs might be taller than me!
