I am a simple person who enjoys spending time with friends, going to the movies and reading. I am very shy around new people, so it takes the right person to bring me out of my shell. I am also a pretty big book nerd; I am always reading. I love talking but I know how to listen to the other person; I value other peoples opinions, but I love getting into debates over certain subjects. I am a culinary school graduate and I currently work at a golf and curling club. My goal in life is to become the head Chef of a fine dining restaurant;I am slightly addicted to my iPod and the television.$ha; I absolutely hate rap thought. I love many different tv shows and movies, but no horror. Being Canadian, it should come as no surprise that I love a good hockey game; Furthermore, just because I am a slightly bigger girl doesn't mean I don't try to lead an active lifestyle; I enjoy swimming, going to the gym (when I can), rock climbing, and canoeing. But I am totally open to trying different things. So I realize I just hit you with a lot of information but that pretty much highlights everything I like, so if you liked what you read feel free to message me. But please if you message me put more than just hey or hi because I will delete those without replying back.I HAVE A CHALLENGE FOR YOU:WILL BE COMPLETELY HONEST... you can ask me ONE question (only in my inbox). Any question, no matter how crazy, sinister, or wrong it is. I WILL answer no matter what. You have my FULL honesty, but i DARE you to put this on your profile and see what questions you get My ideal first date is one where I can talk to a person. I don't think a movie date is a good first date because you're just sitting there and it can be super awkward. But I think going for a cup of coffee or dinner is a very nice way to get to know someone. I would even love going bowling, mini-putting or even a walk as a first date.

Ok, I'm going to give this another try.Hi there everyone. I'm Mariah. I'm a very kind and caring person. Currently I work in a factory and although I may complain about the job/work, its not really as bad as I make it seem (most of the time anyway...). I'm pretty happy with my life at the moment, but I'm looking for someone to share it with. The last person I dated wasn't really there for me and I think that's really what I need/want right now. Someone that is going to be kind and caring towards me, someone that can make me laugh and make any crappy day better. Someone who'll just be there. So let's see, what else can I talk about? Let's go with hobbies. I work full-time, but when I do have free time I enjoy reading, writing (although I'm in a period of writer's block/laziness at the moment...Dreams and goals? To eventually meet someone to share the rest of my life with, maybe have kids one day and just live happily. Also I would like to attend an anime convention in each of the 50 states before I die. (Any questions about this just ask.)I will warn you now, I am very big into certain fandoms. SuperWhoLock (Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Sherlock) is a main one...), The Walking Dead are a few others that I can think of off the top of my head. If you're not a fan of any of these shows/never heard of any of them, don't worry, I won't hold it against you. :3Anything else you want to know, just ask. I'm pretty honest when it comes to answering questions. I think the perfect first date would be to maybe take a walk somewhere where we could talk and/or get something to eat, but it would depend on what the other person thought might also be fun to do.
