About Me

How's it going? I’ve revised this thing a couple of times. I figure it’s only written for those of you who will read it, so here is me and what I’m looking for.1. My ideal woman would be someone who likes movies (sci-fi and action mostly), music, intellectual conversation, college football, hiking in the woods, road trips, concerts, video games and just hanging out at the house. She would like me flirting with her and texts just to see how she’s doing (and would return the favor) and occasional PDAs.2.! 3. Deal breakers. I’m a Christian and I go to church. Not going to try to force my faith on anybody but she has to be cool with me going to church. I have a 2 and a half year old son, so she must like little kids. No drugs. If you have a drink every now and then, fine. If you have to drink every day, no. If you have no respect for other people’s opinions, if your attitude of someone with a differing view point is “that’s just stupid”, then no.4. Personal. I’m a widower. My wife died unexpectedly a couple of years ago and left me with (at the time) a 7 month old baby. He’s 2 and half now. I am very close to my late wife’s family and it will be that way for a long time. Anyone I go out with will have to be cool with that. After my wife died I got very serious about my health. I lost a lot of weight last year. Not looking for an athlete or super model but it would be great to meet someone who is health concious and we could encourage each other in that.5.     Trying this again.... I've been away from this site for 6 months at least as I just had to many distractions and couldn't give this a fair shot. About me: I've got 2 kids that are just great. My daughter is off in college and my son is a sophmore in high school. Both live out of state which has been difficult adjusting to, but I've managed. It's allowed me to focus on my career and better myself as a person so that I can be fully committed in this next phase of life and whatever it may bring.     Picking up a girl at the bar isn't really my thing. I'm very talkative but a little shy unless I know you.
