I like arts and crafts like things such as painting, drawing, scrapbooking, sewing, etc. I recently took classes for cake decorating and a really enjoy doing that. I like to swim, I was actually captain of the varsity swim team is high school. I love music, and I know how to play the flute, guitar, and piano (a little but I would like to teach myself more). I like pretty much any kind of music except screamo and hardcore rap (yes I even like country). It's OK if you don't like all the music that I do, people rarely do, I won't force my music taste on you. I'm willing to listen to just about anything.I also like nature. I like to go for hikes and horseback rides. I have gone camping with my family every summer since I was 5. And we go camping for real, like in a tent! I was in Girl Scouts for 11 years and I can build my own fire, chop wood and build my own shelter if need be. However I prefer not to completely rough it. lolI was pre-med for 3 years before I changed my mind. I've had about half a dozen majors. I finally discovered I love to cook for people, desserts in particular, and I want to go to culinary school. However, I don't want to leave MSU without a degree after all these years. Right now I'm torn between getting a degree in whatever will get me done the fastest and Hospitality Business which would help in the culinary field. My dream job would be to own a bakeshop/cafe that also offers specialty pastries and cakes.Family is really important to me and my friends are just as much a part of my family as my blood relatives. The thing I have always wanted to be someday since I was little is a mom.I'm not really interested in dating anyone younger than me or too much older because I feel like we would be in completely different places in our lives.I'm pretty shy until I get to know someone, but if you want to know anything about me feel free to ask :) My dream first date would be one where I could tell the guy actually put some thought into it to make it fun and special. But generic dates are good too, they're classics for a reason, right?
