About Me

I'm a easy going person, and looking for someone with a low stress level as well. I don't like to create drama when it doesn't exist so I would consider myself practical and down to earth. I am competitive and driven in everything I do. I used to play college basketball and it is (and continues) to be a big part of my life. I've transitioned from a player to a coach and find I like the responsibility and challenge that sport provides. A lot of my schooling and interests surround developing young athletes. I am not in a hurry to have kids but through coaching, school and work I enjoy spending time around kids.On my own time I like to be outdoors, especially in the summer. I jog when the weather permits and enjoy walking or rollerblading the trails - usually with my 1yr old chocolate lab. If I'm not out enjoying the summer, I may be soaking up some sun and relaxing at home. I'm not into the bar scene, I prefer spending time with close friends and having a good time closer to home. I think the first time I meet someone I'd like to meet up with a few friends and do something within a group of people. Maybe have someone over for a campfire or meet up at a coffee shop or someplace relaxed to visit and meet in a more casual/less pressured environment. I'm not into forcing something to happen, I'd rather meet someone and let it progress naturally. I think an ideal first date between just me and him would be something active and fun. Maybe a half round of golf, watch a basketball game, or take a walk and people watch.
