When I used to have free time I spent it going to museums so I can justify that Art History degree, watching Mad Men so I can justify that Advertising degree, planning future vacations no matter how outside my economic means, criss-crossing wine country, destroying my ankles and knees in a variety of activities, eating constantly and therefore working out constantly, pining for mountain towns while on the beach and vice--evaluating my end-game, reading with the door closed.I like the sun, the pool, bbq, music, drinks and dogs in varying proportions. I like snowboarding, I like vacations and I like camping, although most girls don't seem to dig it. I see people on here who don't drink, and that's great. Your liver will get along with you. I have a hard time seeing how we're gonna get along though. So if you scoff at the idea of marathoning full seasons of Farscape, well you can go be too cool for school with somebody else who is also boring. I like people that are honest to a fault. No fakes or flakes. Someone who can be serious but doesn't take themselves to seriously. Laid back and spur of the moment folks seem to peak my interest. You get what you put into any type of relationship and it should never be one sided. I love sports so it's kind of a must if I am to spend time with someone. It's ok to have separate interests as long as it is not expected of one another to participate all the time. Be yourself and not something you think someone else would like. If you can't do that you're lying to yourself and worse lying to the other person. What you see is what you get. Compromise is good only if both parties do it. Having fun and communicating go a long way to any successful relationship and I do both very well. I like to travel a lot and have the opportunity to do so because of my career. I'm not shy, I'm just confident knowing what I want. Some people tend to think that I'm arrogant, but that is an ill-conceived notion. I'm easy going and like to laugh a ton. I don't care for people that are still hung up on an ex or old fling. You can't go forward in life always looking in your rear view mirror. You can decide to either move on and try something different or keep doing the same thing you've always done thinking you'll get different results. Actually pretty fed up with the gals that want "The Notebook" fairytale and in reality they usually lead a "; lifestyle!!! I've been through a ton but I don't judge people and expect that in return. Someone elses sins are not to be pushed off onto others that had nothing to do with it. We are all different and no two are individuals alike.
