About Me

Im "REAL" if you cant handle that, then kick rocks...I come from a strong family. I enjoy tractors and red wine. I feel that living your life in contradiction keeps one confused and happy. I dislike those that litter. I dream of Iceland from time to time. It makes me laugh when people miscommunicate. I drive a Honda. Its a manual. I cry sometimes in that car.. I am a man with NO brain to mouth filter. I know that always is not the best but it is who I am. I want to be around people that enjoy life. NO DRAMA NO BS and no added STRESS!

About me?...I'm a curious and creative person with a passion for perception. I enjoy long walks down memory lane, unwritten poetry, and taking spontanious flights of fancy.I'm not really sure where to start, so I'll just follow the advice given above this box...Ok...my main hobby is also my job. I think it's important to enjoy your work, although I know that not all of us are lucky enough to find something we love that can also pay the bills. I'm a very lucky boy, in that regard.I also enjoy my time off. When I'm not making an engineers ideas a reality, I like to take it pretty easy, and do whatever doesn't require a lot of serious thought. Mostly I enjoy people watching from a patio somewhere, spontaneous trips to places I've never been, or just hanging out for the evening with a good book or a movie, and enjoying the obsessive attention of my ancient feline roommate. (She'll be 20 years old this summer)I also practice daily meditation and martial arts, but I'm not a die-hard fanatic about it.My goals and aspirations are pretty much the same as my hobbies. I'm not into being the boss of anyone, so my ambitions to "move up the ladder" have already been satisfied...now I prefer to help others get where they want to be. I make a comfortable living, so I tend to pick jobs that challenge my skills, as opposed to those that pay the most. That's not to say I'm not motivated in life...I'm just not so much motivated by money. Happiness is free, after all.I've travelled quite a bit, but there are still places I've never seen, so I guess more travelling should be considered one of my "goals and/or aspirations".Hmm...what makes me unique?...Well, I have this wierd kind of neurological condition called synaesthesia. It basically means I get my senses all mixed up. My brain will interpret pretty much everything my senses tell me, in a tactile format...I pretty much feel everything my other senses experience...and it all has an associated "flavor" that's easier to describe in terms of multicolored textures than taste. Is that unique enough? ;-)And that's how we segue into music...I love it in all kinds of flavors, especially when it's live. I used to get annoyed with country, but thanks to my father, I've learned to appreciate even that, as well. (It's his favorite, and he's a good guy, so it can't be all that bad) I used to do a lot of clubbing when I was younger...dancing in a room with ceiling-high speakers is like swimming in sound...just plain awesome. I have over ***songs in my phone, and I'm adding more all the time. I seldom leave the house without my headphones in my ears.If you've read this far, it's probably a good sign that we'll get along. Reading is a good thing. Speaking of which, I guess I should describe what I'm looking for......An open mind is top of the list. Black and white thinkers usually get annoyed with me, so unless you also enjoy being challenged, it probably isn't a good fit....A sense of humor is important.-liners, but being able to laugh at the little things is a huge turn-on. When there's nothing else on TV in the middle of the night, I just switch to the Comedy Network as a default....You must enjoy sex. I'm not saying you have to be a raging nympho, but believe it or not, there are people out there that actually consider sex to be a chore. Not a turn-on. I'm an affectionate person, and love to show it, so I need someone who loves to be shown....A laid back attitude towards life is a bonus. This is a hard one to categorize...it covers a lot of different aspects. I like a person who has a go with the flow approach to daily life. If things need to be done, they get done...if nothing needs to be done, then anything is an option. If this sounds like you, and/or I sound like someone you could enjoy spending time with, let me know. It really depends on who I'm dating...let's chat a bit first, and make some plans from there. Once I get to know you a little more, I'll have a better sense of what kind of fun we could have.
