About Me

I think of myself as someone who loves to be going somewhere all the time: travelling, hiking, camping, 4 wheelers in the mountains,hitchhiking 3rd world countries...but I also like taking it easy, eating good food, drinking some wine or dark beer (stouts are my fave), maybe playing a word game. I have finally reached a point where all the food in my home is organic, or at least non-gmo, except for the homemade ice cream I always have on hand.:) I enjoy eating out but it is hard to find real food in this area so I cook a lot. Good food is very important to me. I try to recycle as much as I can, and have an active compost going that feeds the veggie garden. I work on a boat as a wheelman. I enjoy working with my hands...I love nature and science. All kinds of science (fiction and non) and learning. If you know who wolowitz is, that's a huge bonus:) Reading and books are a passion. I often have 3 or 4 going, and bookstores are one of my favorite places. I have traveled quite a bit, and will travel quite a bit more. I have had a hard time getting out of Habana (my favorite city so far,) but want to check out the rest of the island sometime soon. What I don't like........not much, I just see everyone else posting this section. Casual drink, followed by a walk(around town, through an art gallery, etc:) and a chance to talk to get to know eachother, then maybe dinner. I'm really not into the club scene or movies, so I'd prefer to pass on those.
