About Me

I'm a fairly simple guy, looking for a fairly simple woman. I've spent most of the last year educating myself about nutrition and realizing that I didn't know as much as I thought I knew. I go to the gym at least 5 times per week and would like to meet someone that also enjoys the gym, or at least exercises regularly. While I love to indulge in inappropriate food from time to time, I generally like to eat healthy and it's important for me to find someone that sees eye to eye with me on that. That being said, burgers, queso and other fun foods are still in my sights to eat, but just not regularly. I generally wake up happy and would prefer to find someone that also wakes up happy *** grumpy....that's not fun. I love what I do for a living and I have a great career, so I'm stable in that part of my life. What someone does for a living doesn't really matter to me as much as how much effort a person puts into what they do. That being said, I make a good living but I don't really care how much my partner makes, as long as they are happy with what they are doing. Please don't be a stripper or work at Bone Daddys (or whatever) though.....lol. I would like to find someone that is my best friend and someone that I want to spend most of my time with, with the understanding that everyone needs their own identity and time/space to do their own thing. I'd like to find someone that is active and enjoys doing things outdoors and is wiling to travel and explore the U.S. and other places with me.My ultimate Saturday morning would be to get up somewhat early (before it gets blistering hot and before the day is half over) and head to Town Lake or something similar and kayak somewhere to hang up my hammock. Hang out in my hammock and lounge around for awhile, have a picnic or whatever, then paddle back. Maybe get some swimming in there too or stop off at the farmer's market and get food for the week. Grilling with friends later in the day or heading downtown somewhere for some live music would be great too to finish off the day. What makes me unique is my sense of humor and my wit. I love making people laugh and I usually will do so at my own expense. I think that most of my friends would say that I'm the life of the party, even though I'm not a big party guy anymore. I also consider myself a very thoughtful person. I like to do things for people to make their day better that they would never expect me to do for them. I'm always up for meeting for a casual drink or dinner, somewhere laid back and fun. If things go well and there's chemistry, I'm all for gauging the chemistry and finding something unique and fun to do for an official 'first date'.
