About Me

Here's me in a nutshell... In addition, I recently completed an accounting designation, which will enhance and further my career. I enjoy playing and watching sports, but also enjoy a night out taking in the arts, like museums, plays, etc, pretty much anytthing but opera (I have limits...lol). One of my favorite interests is anything to do with the outdoors (primarily in the spring and summer, when it is nice), for example, hiking, camping, playing a little golf, Ultimate Frisbee, soccer, pretty much anything. In fact, there is nothing better then camping in the mountains, where you can smell the fresh mountain air, see the gorgeous stars in the sky, relax in front of the fire with great friends... Awesome! I hope to share these interests with someone special, and experience your interests as well.I know the question always comes up (or is at least thought of), why are you on POF? Well, I am on here because I am looking for a relationship, simple as that. Although finding someone is proving difficult. I have put my trust in the Lord to guide toward that one special girl that He wants me to be with. However, I should be proactive as well, eh? Since I am established in my career, and in my own circle of friends, I find it difficult to meet new people. Hence, meetville. Plus recent stats show most relationships are formed from meeting online, so why not give it a try. I should be clear though, I am not the kind of guy that is looking for a one night stand, or a hook up, or whatever it is called (after reading some of the profiles from the ladies on here, apparently there are guys looking for that sort of thing, as a result, I want to make it abundantly clear that I am NOT one of those guys), in fact I am looking for a relationship. I want to get married and start a family. I see my friends finding that special girl, and getting married, and having kids, and I find myself wanting what they have, and looking forward to the day that I have what they have (is that too weird to mention on a profile?).My faith is very important to me, I find it is the essence of who I am. Without God in my life, I truly do not know where I would be. He guided me, taught me, and touched my heart during the highs and the lows in my life. Therefore, because my faith is so important to me, I am looking for someone who is religious as well.e. communication, trust, honesty, love) that a couple who prays together, stays together. That we share a faith in God the Father. I adore my family and friends. At risk of sounding conceited, my friends have described me as someone who is positive, sweet, always smiling and laughing, kind, and very loyal.     Well, hello there. Thanks for clicking on my profile. I will keep this as simple as possible. My last one was a book. I live a 80% healthy and a 20% "why not" life style. I am energentic, witty is an under statement, a bit of a cartoon character when feeling silly. So just be aware of that. I had a pretty crazy wild life style, many years back. Time goes by so fast. I like a versitile life. I have been a Step Dad before and was damn good at it. So you having kids is fine. Just no spoiled, temper tramping kids please.I have no baggage with ex's and if your ex's are not well in your past, than I will not be in your present or future. I am a very affectionate guy, cuddling, holding hands, romantic surprises are a given. I treat my partners like angels. But, I like the same in return. My Gf will be number one.I am working on getting some pics without me in a uniform or costume. All the pics of me in dressier cloths are not on my phone. understand?****YOUR PIS....if they are all from 50 feet away, group shots where I have to look for you, or sitting on a horse etc. Not my favorite ones. First dates to me are not that big of a deal. I find a simple low key date is the best. A simple meeting somewhere for a drink and a bite to eat. By the time we go on the first date, we have seen each others pictures, inboxed, talked on the phone so we have a pretty good idea what to expect. It is ore or less to see if we are what we look like in pics, lol. And in my opinion, more or less the interview portion to see if I and you qualify for the position of a second date ;-) Bring a resume please, lol. It is the second date where I put in an effort to impress you and show you my true colors and how sincere and thoughtful I am. Show you that I payed attention to the little things you said you liked. And surprise you with something or some how show you that I did pay attention. Show you how I listened to what your interest and likes are. That is the date that you will see the type of guy I can be.
