Man. 40 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: woman. In age: 37-47
I'm currently running my own electronic cigarette business, although it's only been operational since the end of July, so too early to say much about it (although I'm not really one to let that stop me). Prior to that I've been an intellectual property consultant, a university IP manager, a chemistry teacher, a new product designer and a patent examiner (not an exhaustive list, but enough of a flavour of my varied employment history). As ever, examples probably don't do it justice, but do give an idea of the type of thing I like.- like I said, all sorts of things. Not really had much time for hobbies for the last month or two as getting the new business off the ground has taken most of my time up ***hours a day,six days a week at the moment), but I've never been one to shy away from a bit of hard graft.I do have children (8 year old twins) who I only get to see at weekends in general (currently Saturday night to Sunday tea time), other than that my time is largely my own and I figure it's probably about time to find someone I'd enjoy spending some of it with. If you think that might be you then do drop me a line. What am I looking for in a woman/partner? To be honest, I'm not overly prescriptive. Looks obviously play a part in it, but I don't think I really have a 'type', at least not in terms of physical appearance. If pressed, I'd say intelligence and personality are way more important than looks, but it's more of a package deal in any case. I tend to think you can't tell enough about any of the important factors from a profile on here (or the photos some people post - often of other people, how weird is that?) or from a few ***, whereas half an hour over a pint will often tell you all you need to know (I could be just as easily tempted with food and wine). Hard to say until I know with whom I'll be having a date.

Looking for: woman. In age: 36-46
Music/Film/Comic nerd... love going to gigs and the cinema, as well as watching films, listening to music and reading books/graphic novels at home, keen interest in motorbikes and own a Yamaha R1, I also enjoy collecting things like records, comics, books, film memorabilia, figures, camera gear... yep, I'm a geek and proud! Other things I enjoy are road trips, Photography, fixing things, old cars, my friends, meeting new people, seeing new places and learning new things, talking crap and listening to other people talk crap, laughing, living life and having fun.. just never been my thing, I do try and stay fit though, through a healthy diet and running.I can be fairly sarcastic at times and have been known to have a dark sense of humour, my favourite stand-As far as music goes, I grew up in the late 80's early 90's on a steady diet of punk, goth, indie, industrial, post punk hardcore, hip-hop, grunge and stoner rock, although these days I mostly listen to alternative rock. I prefer small gigs and low key festivals and have little interest in arena sized rock concerts.; Key..Movies: Bladerunner, Alien, The Thing, Moon, Watchmen, Children of Men, Fight Club, Star Wars, Evil Dead, Oldboy, Dark Knight Trilogy, Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy, Donnie Darko, Memento, Let the Right One In, True Romance, Kick--Fi.....-.. I wouldn't call it a first date for starters, I'd probably suggest meeting for coffee or a drink, see how we get on, then maybe take it from there.
