About Me

For the past few years I have been very career oriented, working on a Bachelor’s degree and taking non-college classes to help me move up the ladder in the IT field. I have traveled across the country to better my career. While my work life is going on a good path and I am enjoying what I am doing there. I would like to enjoy my free time more than I do now. Upfront I am a big NERD. I work on computers for a living. I love going to Comic Cons and Renaissance Faires. I read and watch most things Sci-Fi and Fantasy. I love going out and dressing up for Halloween. Despite really enjoying losing myself in Fantasy lands, I am a very practical person. I can and will tear a truck engine down to the block, fix it and put it back together but I will have someone else do my oil changes. I am a pretty decent cook. I do use maps and ***, I was taught that you should do things right the first time. I believe I am a good person, a thoughtful person, a caring person, and been known from time to time to be a fun person. I trust and believe in my own sense of morality, ethics and trust in myself that I am taking the right path to being a good person. I would like to find someone who is Independent but would be overjoyed if I wanted to join in her interests as much as I would be overjoyed if she wanted to join in mine. I would like to be with someone who has some kind of ambition or goals for herself, I don't want a house wife; I want someone who truly wants to be equal partners in crime. I prefer casual first date something that requires jeans and a nice shirt. An early dinner at a nice but relaxed restaurant, being able to sit down and get to know someone and/or doing something touristy that provides a break from awkward silences, gives something to talk about but doesn't prevent conversation the way a movie or a club can.

    I like naturally beautiful, quick-witted, dryly hilarious, independent smartasses........! Hahaha I am an IT consultant for health care, working in hospitals to implement and support EMR software. I try to be as honest as I can, sometimes brutally honest, but that's me. I'll tell you how it is and what I think. That doesn't mean I'm a jerk, though. I'm actually very generous, caring, compassionate, etc. I'm just not fake and don't sugarcoat things that aren't real. I'll make you laugh. I laugh all the time! I'm a kid at heart and like to have fun. I also believe in God. He has helped me through many things in my life and allowed me to be who I am. He will be the one who judges me and nobody else. The following is what I would look for in a long-term relationship: I want someone who is confident and secure, won't play games with me, who will not be afraid to let down her guard, who will share her past with me (even if it may hurt) and will allow me to be myself. I want a somewhat classy girl who doesn't always need to be the center of attention. I want someone who is supportive of me being a socially competitive athlete, as I will be supportive of her passions, too. She needs to take my smartassedness (no, not a word) as just that and not personally. I'm very sarcastic. But I know when to be serious, and so should she. I strongly believe in common courtesy, too. If someone says "hi", say "hi" back. If someone sends you an ***, text, or calls you.......return it. Even if you're busy, just say that you got the message but are busy and will get back to me later. And even better......if you're not interested, just tell me. I can take it. Common courtesy. I believe EVERYONE should hold doors open for everyone else. Common courtesy. Things like that that make humans......humans!!! I also have a beautiful 2-year old daughter that lives with her mother. We can discuss this at a later time if you have questions or concerns. So there you have it. Feel free to ask me questions, as those are easier to answer than to try to describe myself and what I'm looking for on a whim.
