About Me

I'm 38 and never been married and have no kids. (Red flag! Red flag!) No, I've just chosen to not get married to the wrong person. I don't need a girl to make me happy or feel complete, but it is better to share fun times with someone special. I'd ultimately like to meet a trustworthy girl with integrity, intelligence, and a great sense of humor. All those things we all want. Humility and not taking yourself too seriously goes a long way. I prefer not taking everything too serious and enjoy living life. Of course I'm required to be serious at work. (rules, rules, rules) I believe honesty and communication are the most important things in a relationship.I don't really care if you know much about sports or are a sports fan. But if you don't want to go to a sporting event with me and at least enjoy the atmosphere and spending time together, then that's a bummer. Whether you know the difference between a touchdown or a touchback doesn't matter to me. Please know the difference between 'their' 'there' and 'they're' or we're not going to be a good fit. I'm not a partier but do drink socially. I don't care if someone else drinks (within reason). I graduated from UNC so I'm definitely a Tarheel fan. I'm also a Panthers fan (yeah, I get it, we're not that great) and like going to games. I love the atmosphere,energy, and tailgating. I also love any live music, movies, random weekend trips, wine bars, trying new restaurants, my niece and nephew, anything near the water, grilling out, and pretty much anything outdoors. I'm not a couch potato at all, but I do like renting a movie and staying home...especially with good company.Other than that, I guess I'm like everyone else on here - looking to see what's out there and maybe meet someone I have potential with. Lots of options for a first date. We can chat and make a plan and hope for the ever elusive chemistry and connection.
